for many years many believe Lindy Chamberlain was guilty too ..... look how that tunred out. The problem with the whole Thommo thing is that certian sections of the media, in their attempts to discredit Labor, have been all to creative with their reporting of the facts, so much so that we've really no idea how much of it was true anymore.

I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if Thommo walked away scott free once this is all done and dusted.

I'd rather we give him 30 mins with some of the big lads who work in the hospitals pushing trolleys and cleaning sh*t off the floor for the lowest wages in the country and then he can explain to them how the way he used their membership money was perfectly ok.

Remember people defending this scumbag are actually saying the way those members money was spent was acceptable.

I haven't ever seen a single person defend him .... only his right to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty, a right we all have and a right upon which our whole legal system is based.
