This clip shows Scott Morrison addressing detainees on Nauru just over a week ago. It was taken from local Nauruan TV. There’s not much I can say except the man is scum and the thought of him being a Minister in the government that runs this country is sickening.

Agreed. Shame there isn't any real punishing for breaking article 31 of the UN convention (for current and former governments)

Good for him. While he's at it he can tell the Sri Lankans Tamils that they should join the fellow Tamils - who number an estimated 170,000, in India. They will find more community support in India. We don't want or need racists like the Sri Lankans or Tamils in Australia.

You have shown that the Tamils are genuine refugees who should be accepted because they are being persecuted because of their race.

You win the point it is about race and not terrorism but unfortunately that means that you lost the overall argument about them not being genuine refugees.

For all the outraged luvvies. I posted this yesterday but it is appropriate here as well and couldn't be bothered retyping it.

But one question, where were you all and your protests when Labor introduced these laws? You clowns excuse anything of Labor. Where were the SIEV X hands on the hill protests under Labors watch and 1000 plus bodycount? Imagine if Liberals had introduced the PNG solution. You would still be wailing, as it was, hardly a smacking peep.

No respect for you lot at all. Not even the courage of your convictions. smacking pathetic and hypocritical.

Our work is almost done here. All the hours we spent abusing one another over this topic. There were a couple of times I would of loved to force my hands through the computer screen and throttle the person on the end. But people smuggling is almost finished. The boats are being put away and people are being sent home. All it needed was some balls.
