Pakistan to abolish life in jail for blasphemy
Dec 9th, 2013 at 1:39pm

Quote:
Islamabad  (Islam is bad?)

After 23 years, the Federal Shariat court FSC has issued orders to remove the life imprisonment from the blasphemy law,stating that only death is punishment for blasphemy.

Issuing its verdict the court noted that in its ruling of 1990,the FSC has clarified that the mention of life imprisonment  with death sentence should be removed from the blasphemy law, as humiliation of the prophet was intolerable and the one doing so should be given only death sentence.

They chop your head off for blasphemy in some Islamic parts of the world, in the enlightened west some dim wits call critics of this belief Islamophobes.

I expect the usual apologists to remain silent unless it is christians doing bad stuff.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

Rules are rules.

If you go to Bali or Singapore,there are signs everywhere that drug dealing equals death.

It is wrong Baron. So wrong on so many levels.

Prophet Muhammad used to put up with insults day in day out. He used to live with the people who did this. When one old woman suddenly stopped meeting him for her daily insults, The Prophet called in to her house to check she was alright. Moreover, he would insist that no action be taken against these people, and castigated his followers when they called for punishment.

How many Islamic scholars would there be in Pakistan?

But none of them knows what 'gandalf' knows.

They're all wrong, and they're not 'real' Muslims like 'gandalf' because only 'gandalf' knows the REAL truth about these things.

Pull the other leg, 'gandalf' ~ it's got Christmas bells on it.

You should enter politics Herbert, You said a whole paragraph without any point or refutation, while trying your very hardest to make it sound like you are undermining someone else's point.

You want to criticize other cultures, maybe you should stop advocating genocide?

Remove your plank before pointing out the speck etc.

I do not advocate genocide.          [.....of anyone, particular, I do not advocate the genocide of people who do not believe as i believe]

Stating that i do advocate genocide, is a smear, and at best, it is your interpretation/assessment, of what is going on in my head.

And you are wrong!

adamant,

And isn't that such a convenient lapse of memory at this time, on gandalfs part ?         Roll Eyes           Wink

Hey adamant,

Is gandalf a moslem ???

Dictionary;
Muslim = = a follower of Islam.

And, i wonder if gandalf knows what the word 'dissemble' means ?

Dictionary;
dissemble = = hide or disguise one’s true motives or feelings.i

OK then Yadda, all you have to do is agree with me that this passage in the Bible is reprehensible and inexcusable.

Deuteronomy 7

Quote:
7 When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations—the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you— 2 and when the Lord your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally.[a] Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy. 3 Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons, 4 for they will turn your children away from following me to serve other gods, and the Lord’s anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you. 5 This is what you are to do to them: Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their Asherah poles[b] and burn their idols in the fire. 6 For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

I refuted this one year ago almost to the day Yadda. Basically none of the 12 or so instances that answering-islam managed to scrounge together (interesting, you'd think such a tyrant would have put to death more than a mere 12 abusers wouldn't you?), not one of them turns out to be a result of mere insults when applying any sort of basic analysis. You never did have a response to that.

oops, actually meant THIS genocide, which is a lot more brutal.

Deuteronomy 20

Quote:
  16 However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. 17 Completely destroy[a] them—the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites—as the Lord your God has commanded you. 18 Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the Lord your God.

Back to you

No can do.

I am a supporter of capital punishment.

+++

Genesis 1:24
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind.....

Genesis 6:5
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
........
11  The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12  And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

So,              .....what did God do, when he saw all of that; "every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually" ?iStratos,

And why did God hate the; Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites,
.......do you think ???

And, again;
I am a supporter of capital punishment.

And in any case, God is a lot smarter than me.

He knows, what he is doing.

I think the term commonly used today, goes;

"God knows!"
