The labrats are their own worst enemy. They are engaging in their own brand of "class warfare" ........ with themselves! The unions are the upper class socialists; the elite, who control the underlings; the idiots like Wee Willy Shorten who say 'how high'? when the unions say  'jump'. Then there's the sheep like the labrats on this forum who basically spout shite in their desperation to return their political idols back to office, which isn't going to happen any time soon.

Of course you hate the unions. You hate to see workers organised to protect themselves against your assault. You and your gang of thugs would much rather deal with them one by one. But the employer's association (recently renewed calls for penalty rates to go) you have no problem with that union do you; the chamber of commerce, the business persons union (recently called for lower tax rate for small business) you have no problem with that union do you; the farmers federation (constantly with its hand out for subsidies and rabid outspoken critic of socialism) you have no problem with that union do you. It's not a matter of you being unable to read is it seńora, you lack the ability to understand what you read. The title of this thread required an answer you clown, and I responded with my opinion of idiots like you and the halfwit who started this thread. My "maniacal rant" as you say, was my view of the sad, piss-weak rubbish of the OP.

Like it or lump it, Benito.........or is it seńora....... Smiley

I strive daily to raise this joint above the level of the gutter - and daily at day's end I bury the dead and count the wounded, and watch a coven of you struggle remorselessly to raise the gutter above the level of this joint.... sometimes in this haunted place of dead souls I feel like a Nouveau Budwing... rising every day to a new life and a new search for identity among the ruins of a once-great civilisation dragged down by the wolves of the internet.......

One day we may all break free to the green fields of the simple pleasure of discussing without feeding........

The “review” into welfare won’t produce much saving but will cause much pain. In the “True Believers” thread I show where the real waste is, and the stinking Libs are not going to touch that!

Work it out - you screw 3 million pensioners and unemployed - who, BTW, pour their cash straight back into the economy where it is recouped in tax after tax as it circulates until it is back in the hands of Big Bro - meaning zero net loss to government from welfare anyway - for $5 a week each - overall grab-back about 3/4 of a billion bucks.  A drop in the toilet for these idiots in Cambra who throw that away on crap every damned day!

That $0.75Bn also is not circulating in the economy at the same speed, and is taken up at a different and most likely slower rate in tax - unless of course it funds Clivagina Miner's lifestyle and goes to Acapulco for a laugh on a whim and NEVER is returned in tax but helps pay for the unearned private jet.

That's one small five bucks for mankind - one GIANT five bucks for a man!

I can never get over these morons in Cambra and their petty stealing from the poor to fund the rich.

I'll be marching on St Patrick's Day.....

ADDS:-  All this is bullshit economics - you do not 'reduce welfare' by cutting it - you transfer it elsewhere in the economy and still pay the bills - one way or the other.  And cutting out the immediate return cash flow from welfare is removing your own solid base of weekly tax revenue, thus further destabilising your own economic moves.

Where these idiots need to make cuts is in the rich welfare sections.  Plenty of good wood to cut there!

ADDS AGAIN:-  That's exactly why I'm going back into business for myself rather than begging for jobs like some beggar in the street.  The only way to make a buck these days is to get all the tax cuts and concessions and even grants to start up - then write it all off on tax every year and live well!

The idiocy that is the simian’s pet PPL scheme is fraught with problems. Stupid Greens still set to wave the middleclass welfare measure through, confirming they are conservatives at heart.

Absolutely - the Greens are closet conservatives, as you say, as long as they can see benefit in it for them as well.  Funny how Money changes Everything...  I once did a PTSD course run by a quack who self-avowedly didn't believe in PTSD - he still accepted the funding though... money speaks all languages as long as it says YES.

PPL 'estimated' at $5.5bn a year - watch it blow out like a honeymoon husband's equipment once people realise they can take six months off and cop a nice earner for it.  I predict a sudden baby boom.....

$5.5bn - hmm - that's one HELL of a lot more than you get for screwing pensioners and unemployed for $5 or even $10 bucks a week......

What are these clowns in that unelected swill group of Tony's using for brains?  A Man Named Vanstone's nuts or her social conscience?

Nope - we have to get rid of this lot as well and soon..

What the coalition is trying to do Spartacus, is to restore some order and sanity in economic terms before this country goes down the tube.
You might think there will be welfare for all who need it when things get bad but you are just so wrong.
You better pray that cost cutting and wage restraint will enable most Australians to survive in this global economy.
But of course you would probably prefer to go out and burn down some banks or something equally constructive and intelligent!

Ideology, politicking, lack of brains.

The Libs should have been spending the last 6 years getting rid of deadwood—deadwood still there. Should have spent the last 6 years working on policy—PPL, a brainfart of Abbott’s—their only damn policy!

Without the white anting by Rudd—Labor would be in their third term and the real waste, those huge tax expenditures on super and FBT. Maybe even negative gearing but I think that needs bipartisan agreement and a carefully worked out scheme. Something like 2 years advanced notice, four for new buildings then reduce the amount of NG that can be claimed each year so in ten years it is phased out.

Workers wage increases have stayed well below that of the increases professionals and the millionaire/billionaire elite have enjoyed under a Labor govt. So unless your asking for an Asian style working poor that cant afford basic housing, food, schooling, healthcare etc your gonna have to bring the cost of living down by a massive amount to compensate for the third world wages and conditions you are asking for.
Beating up the working poor is lazy and easy and what most of us expected would happen when the far right hardliners grabbed power.

Negative gearing George? You're talking about a drop in the bucket in terms of this country's economic problems.
The big problems are trade imbalance and costs of production, as well as things like impediments to innovation.
Just today we read that biotech companies are having to move overseas because they get the support they need there.
Negative gearing might make you feel good but it's not going to solve our economic problems.

You can fix trade imbalance - raise tariffs.  Lower the cost of living here and allow wages to gently land by parachute instead of shooting the plane down... which is what idiots on both sides have been doing for thirty years now.

Every move - privatisation, 'equal' opportunity and so forth, have created a nightmare of rising cost of living - and wages have always been chasing that rise - NOT the other way around.

Look at the results now.  Massive un- and under-employment, excessive wages for some and nothing for others, social and economic imbalances, escalating socio-economic divides, pre-emptive repression of specified social groups (the ones most likely to object and enforce an objection) using illegal 'laws' such as DV, 0.05 (lowest in the world), gun laws, discrimination vilification and so forth, offering a privileged rise to the groups least likely to object and make it stick - women and so forth.

It's been no garden party out there for the past thirty plus years you know - just one hit after another - now you want to throw the whole workforce except the privileged classes into poverty to settle the results of those piss-poor policies.

That'll bring the house down, I can assure you.

Did you miss something in the dismissal of Labrador, and the installation, on probation, of The Mad Monk - One Term
