Unless the majority of Muslims actually participate in the execution, we must not judge them for killing a mentally ill man in the name of Islam, because he said the wrong thing. We also must not describe it as killing in the name of Islam, as people might get confused and think he blew up a shopping mall.
Precisely.
100% of the Paki public might say they agree with the sharia court's decision, but it's only those who turn up for the actual execution to chant
"ALLAHU AKBAR!" who are the
real Muslims.
Wait.
Have I got that right? Gandalf
et al say that these types are NOT
real Muslims. They don't represent TRUE Islam and its Message of Peace, Modesty, and Tolerance.
So it's the ones who Stay at Home and who don't attend the execution who are the
real Muslims, even though they support sharia law and say blasphemers should face the death penalty.
It's all very confusing.
It seems that
real Muslims can be described as those Muslims who are beyond criticism from a Christian point of view ... in which case we have a problem getting the likes of Gandalf to explain to us how a
real Muslim differs from a
real Christian.
(I have an awful premonition that G is going to solve this dilemma by vaporising our posts, freediver).
