CLIVE Palmer’s private company has been accused of lifting millions of dollars from a special fund without permission.

The Chinese firm Citic Pacific has lodged an application with the Federal Court in Perth to dismiss an attempt by Palmer’s Mineralogy to wind up Sino Iron.

Legal counsel for Citic, Andrew Bell, yesterday told judge John Gilmour that Mineralogy had taken $2.5 million from a $10 billion iron ore export project in the Pilbara to buy a ship. “Our understanding is that such a vessel was never acquired,” the accusation reads
