Why is this forum such a leftwing enclave?
Feb 15th, 2014 at 1:33am

Yeah, I know. A new poster, bound to be attacked as a sock or other banned poster by the other leftists on the forum as I have seen in the past, so just to nip that in the bud, I have been a long time reader of this forum but this is the first time I have dipped my toe into this sewer.

My question is, why are the leftwing on this forum given such leeway on abuse and false claims when the rightwing are not given the same freedom?

Do the left have such a weak argument that they need to be protected? This forum would seem to confirm that assumption.

What is the leftwing so scared of when it comes to open and ribald discussion?

I know the old furphy of repeating lies and mistruths in an effort to be entered into the lexicon is a typical leftwing trait but it is one that is transparent and can be easily recognised which is the majority of the posts that appear here.

So my question is, why is this allowed or condoned, because even a leftwing moderator should realise that this would be a bad look for their cause, no to mention that the forum owner would be seen as a political site that is run with a leftwing bias, when a true political forum would create more hits if it was truly balanced.

TL:DR why does this political forum allow itself to be leftwing biased?

A lot of posters here are abusive, from both sides of the spectrum. There are plenty of righties on here, too. Judging from your name, aren't you a Labor supporter anyway?

Probably because it isn't.

Not a good look, to join a forum and proceed to alienate half the members
and insult the whole forum with your very first posting.

But you've managed it.

Conned-gratulations.

BTW, if you think it's a leftwing-dominated sewer, why did you even bother to join, if it wasn't to troll?

You could well be describing a RW forum with your comments.

We open one eye and notice how the opposition behaves and close the other to those who bat for our team.

When Labor were in power - you wouldn't have made the same post.

I don't see the forum as dominated or slanted either way.

Also everyone is subject to exactly the same rules.
You abuse people, you leave. No matter who you are.

I agree!

In addition this thread does not fit within the Political Sucks criteria, as it does not relate to -
Australian politicians, parties, elections and party policies.

So, I am transferring it to a more appropriate setion.
