There's a thread on trolls which was discussed here years ago. I used to hate the word - thought it sounded rough, but you get used to repetitiveness and now it seems an appropriate tag for some people.

I think calling someone Labrat is offensive Cods - as you probably find being called a Libturd, but I think Labrat was being used for quite a while beforehand. I could be wrong.

Still if they're the worst names used here - there wouldn't be too many complaints. Problem is both sides insult each other and with a lot worse than those childish words.

but usually!!!!! and I dont say always.. I use derogatory terms in retaliation...

I did use them a lot years ago... but thats history..

I mean what about real personal.. like being called a witch or oldhag...which is what I have endured in very recent times....I have never ever seen a lefty complain about those terms.. Roll Eyes

probably because they are directed at me...but not to worry I just like to get things sorted thats all.. if one is going to complain it may as well be about something worth while..and not be told... suck it up. Roll Eyes

I am aware of that andrei...just thought maybe a yes or a no would have helped...

what I consider is abuse.. isnt always considered to be abuse by a mod...

I noticed that a few days ago and was surprised at the member who posted it. I thought he could come up with something less personal if he was angry with your comments.

I've been called those names and worse Cods and usually by females. It is offensive especially as the member dishing it out is usually older than you and a bit of a witch themselves. It just means you've got to them and they're tongue tied so they're forced to resort to the school kid language they feel comfortable with.

What do you do? Stoop to their level, ignore it or respond politely?

They don’t. Sometimes you are told you won’t be banned this time but you are.

The standard of modding is pretty low—need a couple new mods IMHO. Mods could consult and advise a bit.

And Politics Sucks needs to be widened—fragmenting discussion too much kills it.

I am surprised you are surprised by the commentator..as it goes on all the time..sneer sneer..personal attacks are his trademark..

and yes you would be surprised how much I ignore it..water off a ducks back as they say... but if push comes to shove... Tongue

I havent seen where you have been abused.. I would hope if I did I would stand up for you and put the abuser in their place...you dont go on polsuxs much and thats where I reckon the worst abusers go...but thats just an opinion..

I rarely get abused here because the moderation is usually good, but that doesn't always apply to other boards. I will say something in your defence if I see other members being mean to you Cods. Shocked
