How 2 Survive An Abbott Recession
Feb 18th, 2014 at 12:09pm

With Abbott trashing the economy, breaking down community unity, attacking the environment, destroying manufacturing, and destroying jobs, what can we do to prepare for this coming Abbott Recession?

Do you remember the first week of Parliament under the new government?

Do you remember Hockey revealing to a shocked Australian public that Swan had raided the reserve, ransacked it of more than 8 billion dollars?

Do you remember when the Labor government gave themselves permission over the Christmas break when they knew no-one would be looking, to ransack any bank account which had not been accessed in three years?

Do you remember all the revelations about Labor corruption involving missing millions/billions of dollars?

This country was basically bankrupted by the time Liberals got to have a real look at the books

During Labor's ruinous reign, companies were driven to the wall.  Now, a month or two into NLP's term, those companies are simply making formal acknowledgement of having to finally shut down, although the writing was on the wall all through Labor's destructive government

You have a real short memory, Greens

But we don't

Given that Labor is dishonouring the Coalition's mandate to Ditch the carbon tax & Ditch the mining tax it is a Labor / Greens recession and not Abbott's.

The WA Senate re-election will be a referendum on the Carbon Tax.

simple.  be self employed and offer a service or product that the public want.

How not to survive?
Work in an industry where the union movement has priced you out of a job
or Work in the public service and where the lower tax take means your employer (the australian public) judges you are not required any more.

The market always sorts these things out.
A recession is not an obstacle, its an opportunity

An " opportunity"?

Right, an opportunity to lose your job, go on the dole, and be ruled by one of the worst governments in Ozzie history

"Opportunity" indeed.

Besides if no one's earning then no one's buying your product or service no matter how much they want it.

Get ready for the sh1t storm that has been brewing since 2008.

sigh.

you dont understand business.

say you run a lawnmowing business and there is a prolonged period of no rain. the grass isnt growing and your customers only need you once a month not once a fortnight.
there is a lawn mowing "recession"

what to do?
moan?
ask for a government bailout?
sell your mower and quit?

no, this is your OPPORTUNITY.

your competition will feel the pinch, let THEM moan, quit and cry for help.

YOU get into landscaping or hedge trimming or tree lopping.
YOU tighten your belt, suck it up and smile.
YOU know that a recession NEVER lasts.

It rains and you now have

1  a new business
2 your old business back at the previous level.
3  no competition, so you up your  fees.

you employ an assistant and double your profits.

Gotta love a good recession, always helps the cream
