How many female appointments
Feb 18th, 2014 at 2:57pm

How many female appointments has this government made?

Cabinet - 1 woman.
GG - Male.
Oz High Commissioner to London - Downer (likes to wear stockings and high heels)
Australian Consul General to New York - male
royal commission into unions - male
royal commission into the pink batts - male
Commission of Audit - 1 female (Amanda Vanstone), 4 males
Inquiry into the Renewables Target - male.

Does our misogynist PM really believe that no "women of calibre" exist?

Let me guess, because they lecture you on using facts to make an argument, as opposed to thinking that what you heard at a local waterhole is the truth?

IN any case, you dion't need to be a politician for the appointments I've mentioned. I'm curious as to why Tony has not named females in any of his major appointments?  Why does Tony hate women?

I'm really impressed that you can rhyme Smiley

But the issue is that a lot of social behaviour, "social norms", are dictated by government policies, and government action.

And if our government is led by a misogynist who sees no value for women other than birth givers and household maintainers. then what will that say about our society in 5, 10 years time?

We've already got a misogynistic PPL coming. We've got 1 "woman of caliber" in government. All decisions will be made by men, on the advice of men.

Does that not scare you one bit?

That's retarded, demented crap based on no reality what so ever.

Honestly, if you are the kind of woman we could expect then i'm glad we don't have a vagina quota.

So to create a more harmonious society we have to divide people up into gender.  Cheesy

I am not a woman.

But do you disagree that a lot of the "social norms" are dictated by policy? and nourished by the actions of our government?

Do you disagree that Tony, who thinks women with careers are "women of caliber", sees women as second-rate humans?  I don't. It's proven in his actions and the actions of his government.  It's proven in what he's trying to legislate (PPL).

But you know... I'm glad you came up with such a coherent argument. No wonder biscuit-loving men such as yourself are in charge of this country and making all the right decisions. Grin

To create a more hamonious society one would imagine that we'd want to hear the opinions from all, and not just the select few who seem to share the ideals of our PM, and have a penis.

Sounds like someone believes in biological determinism. Not very "progressive".  Grin
