Australia vs Ireland Property Bubble - frightening
Feb 19th, 2014 at 12:08am

The parallels between what happened in Ireland and what is currently happening in Australia regarding real estate is frightening ! A whole generation of Irish youth has had their future stolen from them by the excesses of greedy property hoarders, speculators, foreign investors, greedy crooked banks and of course crooked politicians that encouraged it all. Sound familiar ?

You judge for yourself and see if you think I am talking through my hat when I say that Australia is gearing itself up to fail big time and a whole new generation is about to have their futures robbed from them and will have to pay for decades to come for the excesses of others that they had no part of Sad

The resemblance to Australia is even more uncanny in this doco. You've got to see it to believe it. Ireland is like a mirror image of Australia !! Ireland lost manufacturing jobs to a property bubble. Developers and banks lobbied the government to get special tax breaks. Government made a fortune in taxes etc etc Sad

Where's all of the property spruikers on this forum ?

Maybe they don't want to see the carnage that their ilk is about to cause. Sad

Yeh and they also speak differently to aussies so that makes a big difference as well.

I knew you would come up with some lame bullshit excuse. It didn't take you long to wheel out the old "this time it is different" excuse.  I take it that you didn't actually watch the docos ?

And I forgot to add that Ireland also has 4 pillars of trash banking just like we have here Sad

The people who don't want to watch those docos usually have got vested interests in property.

If you don't want to watch the docos then just watch it unfold in real time in Australia. The job losses in manufacturing is just the start of it. What happens next is documented in the videos Wink

I totally agree with you, the last nail. A huge property Tsunami is going to hit Australia like a 100 metre wave.

The ones who checked in last, in investing in the overinflated and overhyped property market, particularly in Sydney are going to be slammed.

My advice? Get out now. Take your profits and put them in blue chip, the wave is coming.

not sure why you persist with this stupid 'this time it's different' line... the fact that you continue to pretend that is my argument despite my telling you it isn't shows just how blinkered you are when it comes to this topic.  this time it's not different, it doesn't need to be ... Australia has never had a property bubble go bust and it is unlikely to in the forseeable future, that means everything is not different, it is the same as it always has been.

do you get it yet?
