Any Starbucks change make it over here from.Dan Diego, Andrei?

Trickle-down effect, I guess. That homeless vet spends some on Vegemite and Violet Crumbles.

No other illegals come over here.

The margin would find it's way back to Illinois and Switzerland respectively.
You long ago stopped owning anything son.

Was it Rudd and the greens who were in power when Manus Island was reopened?

yes, but under Rudd the asylum seekers weren't left to be beaten by the natives ...

it's only After Abbott got in that management of the facility went downhill

And of course it was Abbotts excellent campaign of fear and hatred which eventually forced Labor into the gutter with Abbott.

Nothing to do with the fact that under Labor, more than 700 boats arrived carrying over 50,000 people while more than one thousand people died at sea as a direct result of Rudd's "humanitarian" policy after he dismantled the Pacific Solution? You sound like Gittany's girlfriend: "he is a good man who did not throw his ex off a balcony despite CCTV footage and I will stand by him no matter what!!!"...

If they are to be deported, and haven't a passport, issue them another one.

Simple, really. Just like some of the posters here.

Shocked Shocked Shocked

Er... you cannot issue Australian passports to foreigners. And Australia cannot issue non-Australian passports.

None as simple as you, practically single-cell.

.

They don't have to be Australian passports, dummy.

For example, if I decided to return to NZ, unlikely but who knows, it would be possible to renew my Kiwi passport while still in Australia.

You would need to go to a NZ Consulate to do that, as Australia cannot issue you with a passport from another country.

The rioting chumps have failed the character test and should be returned home asap.
The call to close down Manus because of a riot is stupid and makes as much sense as closing down a gaol for the same reason.
The Coalition will hold firm on this, and the rioting criminals should be charged.

The asylum-seekers should hold firm, and it's the 'govt', through Morrisoff, who should
be charged with human rights abuses.

Shame there isn't a way to force sanctions on the d1ckheads who support this p1ss-poor
excuse for a government, and its xenophobia. They so richly deserve it.

Yes, close Manus Island now, send them ALL home (or back to Indonesia or their starting point) and let them apply for refugee status with their documents in hand.

One death isn't enough for you guys?

More than 1,000 deaths under Labor obviously weren't enough for you Greenies to do something about it while wedded to Gillard...

And that is one huge sh1t sandwich the Greens and Labor leftards are gonna be chewing on for ever - geez it must suck when your whole team has had its head shoved down the toilet repeatedly - oh how the haters are hating now  Grin

Neither Labor nor the Greens are responsible for these deaths. Nor will their supporters accept
or acknowledge any culpability, as there is none.

If anyone is responsible, it's the Indonesians, for allowing them to depart in unseaworthy ships
and the Libs for refusing to accept that they are refugees, not terrorists after our Centrelink
benefits.

If what you say is true, then if a boat carrying 100 illegal immigrants sinks at sea tomorrow it will definitely not be Abbott's fault.

Boats sink all the time.

But, generally, the survivors are not abused, marginalised, and thrown
into concentration-camps.

And they are NOT 'illegal. This lie needs to be put to death once and for all.
