The ugly stain of this foul treatment of asylum-seekers will take years to eradicate.

Thanks for nothing, con-servatives!

it was opened under the Labor/Green coalition...

so what are you talking about you nincompoop...

I'd have thought that would have been obvious.

And it was only done under pressure from the Maggot and his followers.

Labor actually had a mandate in 2007 to END offshore processing, but
the Maggot opposed and whinged from Day One, and ended-up conning
the electorate into voting for this travesty.

Morrison should be in jail, or at the end of a rope.

another lie...

Labor/Greens opened up Manus Island

and Rudd promised not to touch the Liberals Pacific solution which worked...

then Rudd tried to be the hero and shut the pacific solution down... it blew up in his face and created what we see now..

SO YOU take responsibility maggot

just like Gillard had no mandate to slap us with a carbon tax.. she did it.. you maggots supported it and now manufacturing in Australia is buggered... it was the last nail in the coffin and the Labrat/Leftard supported this destruction..

once again... TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUPPORTING THE WORST GOVERNMENT OF ALL TIME...

Ditto to Kats comment

LOL...

who brought them over in the FIRST PLACE>>

will you guys ever accept you opened the doors to PEOPLE SMUGGLERS....not the LIBS.. the LABS

THATS RIGHT LEFTIES OPENED THE DOOR AND HELPED THE PEOPLE SMUGGLERS TO START UP ALL OVER AGAIN....

I AM HAPPY TO KEEP REMINDING YOU..

It was the coalition that inflamed the push factors so to create a product for the people trafficers.

Remember your illegal war … and now you are creating more refugees by driving AGW harder.

You conveniently forget the Labor / Greens suck factor via their dismal policy.

Was it Rudd and the greens who were in power when Manus Island was reopened?

yes, but under Rudd the asylum seekers weren't left to be beaten by the natives ...

it's only After Abbott got in that management of the facility went downhill

And of course it was Abbotts excellent campaign of fear and hatred which eventually forced Labor into the gutter with Abbott.

Er... you cannot issue Australian passports to foreigners. And Australia cannot issue non-Australian passports.

None as simple as you, practically single-cell.

.

They don't have to be Australian passports, dummy.

For example, if I decided to return to NZ, unlikely but who knows, it would be possible to renew my Kiwi passport while still in Australia.

Cheeses! You really are out to promote the ... er... slow and dense Kiwi stereotype, aren't you?

You are saying that we should have the Afghan, Iranian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Vietnamese etc diplomatic reps flown to Manus and Nauru, set up a tresle table and start re-issuing the passports that were dropped into the water when these people sailed from Indonesia?

Or are you thinking that Australia could issue Afghan, Iranian etc passports?  Or what, if anything, ARE you thinking?

The rioting chumps have failed the character test and should be returned home asap.
The call to close down Manus because of a riot is stupid and makes as much sense as closing down a gaol for the same reason.
The Coalition will hold firm on this, and the rioting criminals should be charged.

What 'character test?'  (Those people are not candidates for asylum in Australia.)

how do you know if they failed or not?

Isn't it amazing how nothing regarding asylum seekers gets out to the media because of operational secrecy, and yet as soon as one asylum seeker holds up a chair it's all over all the papers ... how did that happen?

Sorry, I didn't realise that bold, highlighted, size 16 font remained elusive.

Iranian Ms Bokan saw almost nothing, by her own admission. She heard a lot of screaming and people holding up plastic chairs.

This is like the 'navy tortured me by burning my hand' story'. Very little is known but the reflex is to rush to take side against Australia's policy to stop people smugglers sending queue jumpers to Australia.

Wouldn't we be the poorer for it?

God, how would we manage....
