Rupert Murdoch rakes back 885 mill. from Tax Offic

Murdoch's New Corp has just won 885 million back from the Tax Office when the Federal Court gave a green light to its tax scam. New Corp achieved this by bouncing millions and millions of dollars around the world to tax havens and using variances in the going exchange rate.

It's an out and out scam but the Federal Court said it's O.K.

So once again the big fish pay f.... all in tax, Google, Apple and the other big guns do the same thing.

It s left to Joe Battler to pay the bills, people like Murdoch fly over it. Incidentally he clawed back 550 million in taxes in 2010 using the same ruse.

Yeah & pigs might fly. Good to see it's not only Pollies making mistakes .... but our Federal Judiciary as well. Wonder who picked up the brown paper bags?

This pisses me right off, particularly from that ass hole Murdoch.

When are we going to get legislation to prohibit these large multinationals from using tax havens and the like to stop paying their fair share of tax in the country where the dollars are earned. I even think the government should legislate a minimum percentage of tax must be paid on earnings over a certain amount. None of this paying the tax in the lowest taxed country they operate in or whatever it is.
