Sure, problems exist, and I wholeheartedly agree that the best outcome can only come from stability in those regions. But while there is no stability, if refugees come, we have an obligation. And that's the part you seem to conveniently ignore.

And as for refugees rioting - you try being persecuted, escaping, then landing in mandatory indefinite detention. See how long you last.

First of all, what is arranged with PNG was arranged by Labor.
Then you can't have it both ways... Morrison has been condemned for not passing on information or not passing it on fast enough...

We've been accepting refugees from these areas for a while. I don't see them killing each other - perhaps because refugees tend to be victims of the instability, not perpetrators?
