My conscience doesn't need easing ... and FYI, I disagree with what all the political parties have done. I'm all for onshore processing.

However, that doesn't mean I stamp my feet and cry until I get my way. Given the political climate surrounding asylum seekers, labor had no choice but to find an alternative to on shore processing .... the greens decided that because they weren't going to get their way they would cry and stamp their feet, resulting in watered down solutions being applied. These watered down solutions resulted in the deaths, greens are responsible for watering down the solutions. Stamp your feet and cry a little more if you like, but the facts stand.

The government resettlement survey had 83.5% of the country shopping economic migrants still claiming centrelink up to 5 years after arriving here, there were only 4 boat people in detention when Dudd dismantled the Pacific solution.

83.5% of 8 million is 6,680,000 more people claiming centrelink,if you think labor could piss our money up the wall wait till the greens get their chance to bankrupt us
