Media attention is gathering on this lying prick.

This is written by Bill Hoffman, a long term Sunshine Coast journalist of no particular literary or political note, and I have locked very angry horns with the smart arse locally many times.  But, he has nailed this one.

Quote:
THE Prime Minister may not want a wimp running Immigration but the public has a right to expect whoever is doing the job to be truthful.

It is now clear that Scott Morrison knew a week ago that his initial statements about what happened on Manus Island were incorrect.

Regardless of individual views on asylum seeker policy, once Australia takes away people's liberty and takes control of every aspect of their lives and future, it takes on a tremendous responsibility.

Shifting asylum seekers to remote islands ultimately controlled by other governments does not discharge that responsibility. Mr Morrison's statements immediately after the incidents in which Reza Berati was bashed to death indicate a desire to suggest that those who were injured got what they deserved.

"I can guarantee their safety when they remain in the centre and act co-operatively with those who are trying to provide them with support and accommodation,''
Mr Morrison told reporters.

"When people engage in violent acts and in disorderly behaviour and breach fences and get involved in that sort of behaviour and go to the other side of the fence, well they will be subject to law enforcement as applies in Papua New Guinea."

Mr Berati was killed inside the detention centre. It now appears that many who hid under beds to try to escape the turmoil were dragged from those hiding places when PNG security forces and others were allowed in.

Refugees on Manus Island, Nauru and Christmas Island are pawns in the game of Australian politics. According to international conventions this country has signed they are not illegal arrivals.

Stopping the boats is less about saving lives than it is about dealing with domestic perceptions created by intemperate political statements dating back to the spurious "Children Overboard" claims of October, 2001.

The demonisation of refugees is a political strategy that dehumanises real people to then justify their treatment. Labor and the Coalition have been in a race to the bottom that may win votes in marginal seats but in no shape or form represents the values to which many Australians aspire.

Just another opinion piece. No one else cares. The majority are happy the boats have stopped. Morrison deserves a medal. Cry moar.

Which of course, they did.

Hours of taunting black people as apes and monkeys from behind locked gates whose keys are in the possession of these very same black people is not a very good idea.

Correct.

Correct.

Excellent! It's not often the arseholes get payback nowadays.

The Muslims brought this VIOLENCE upon themselves with hours of racist provocation of black people.

You will notice that the luvvies DON'T want to blame (the) Black People ... and DON'T want to blame the Muslim people.

... and soooooo ... who is there left to blame and 'monster' for this brawl between Muslims and Blacks?

Answer: M.................

It's an old Member, one who has been permanently banned from here, some time ago.   He can't get his fix at the only Board where he is tolerated because Members there have left that place, not wanting to have anything further to do with him, so he creates socks, keatingisgod was one, and sneaks back in here.  But, his content and phrases are far too well known for him to get away with it for long.

I reckon he has arrived again, and not just with this sock.  If you look not even very carefully, you will be able to see another new poster going to extraordinary lengths to appear unique, one who would have us believe they are incapable of placing a comma in the correct spot.

My God! You could cut the paranoia in here with a knife, its that thick  Cheesy Perhaps you should address your wailing and sobbing before accusing posters of being someone or other?

You have a way to go to prove any of your baseless lies against Morrison and in the other thread against the General and because you are unable to do that, you are behaving in exactly the same way as Conroy. Like him, you too are a filthy grub without the character or backbone that Morrison or the military has and is needed to fix the right royal mess the ALP and those who championed them left for this country.

You and your ilk make me sick and should be rounded up and interred into a camp where Australians armed with sticks and machetes can get access to you on a rotating basis- there would a long line from the entrance of your donga you can bet.

It is clearly IQ, Nato.XYZ is the same clueless IQ.

I don’t see why FD keeps the swamp, formerly Political Animal, attached to this board. Just close it, Naffy & the shifty SN are members here, AiA could join, FD could even set up a PA member–run board. IQ will eventually drift off and plague some other boards. Having all the PAers (bar the rapidly–balding IQ) posting actively here will help with the advertising revenue. Simple.

PA has had its day, inter the remains and move on.
