I will always reject mindless fawning over symbols of power and authority. I don't trust people who support that kind of deferential unthinking. Nor do I support the dangerous, unquestioning, rabble rousing attitude of those who promote it.

I am of a different vogue I was brought up to respect others... no matter what...if they are superior or in uniform they have done and know more than I do...

ps I was also taught to respect my teachers.. sadly thats another thing we dont do today...
