we are talking about a GENERAL....a man who has NOT got where he is by stealth or being besties....he got there through his own work standards...and by all accounts is much admired...

.ask the Labor Party he received a lot of promotion during the krudd/gillard years.......

no I do not condone ANYTHING under any circumstances and that goes for every one on this planet.....

BUT THEN I DONT WRAP ALL UNDER THE "ONE SIZE FITS ALL" BLANKET EITHER...

My point is that you would rather that it had not happened at all, which is a slippery slope in my opinion. At the end of the day, I would rather have a robust democratic process and a few bruised ego's. I would hope that the commanders of our armed forces would feel the same way. The government are the one's who owe the General an apology, for allowing a situation to develop where the armed forces become politicised.

Well if you have signed the secrets act you would know, once information has been classified, regardless whether you agree or not, you don't get to blab what you know, no matter who asks.

So unless these leftards can prove that the information is public domain and he conspired with the libs to withhold information they should just shut the bugger up about how conroy was right to accuse / slander the general with his staetment.

Think about this, conroy is alone not even his own party is siding with him on his actions againts the general.

It isn’t secret information the publication of which imperils the safety of the country, just mundane customs and immigration stuff. Operation Sovereign Murder is NOT a military operation. If there was some reason for secrecy the information could have been given in camera. Something stinks about this culture of secrecy. Hope Conroy gets more chances to put pressure on the toy soldier!
