No. Someone changed my sig. Is that allowed? Are you mods allowed to go into ppls personal settings and change their sigs?

I got a message today in my email saying someone was trying to change my password to Ozpolitic. I got this message twice ... and then had trouble login in.

There's been some fiddling.

Ok, I'll come clean. Spot is actually my sock. It was my attempt to create a persona who was really so thick that it was surreal.

Did I do well?

Andrei.....I'm not certain that arrogance will suffice.  I'm one of your supporters, but this extra glitch is testing not only my support.

Ok in the interests of information, I'll explain a tad more.

The thread about Barack Obama's wife was based upon a published web article - with the link given.
Now people can find it absurd and the usual conspiracy nonsense - such as whether he was born in the United States or Kenya etc - again another nonsense subject but is prevalent in material on the net.

Spot, put up a picture of Tony Abbott's wife and wrote - this is a man.

No link, no story - basically the behaviour of a 12 year old and not something you'd expect from a grown man.
Now the first is also stupid but is based on a discussion of a story on the internet.
The other is basically spamming.

That's the basis of the removal of one and not the other.

Bias?
Absolutely not. You put up a picture of Bill Shorten's wife and say its a man or Christine Milne's husband and say its a woman and add nothing more and I'll take those down too.

Spamming is not acceptable by anyone.

Hence why the trash bin is packed with Deathridesahorse threads.

As regards Spot's signature, I neither know anything about that nor care.

Certainly no bias from me here. I'll be honest I am so far removed from Australian politics now, I genuinely don't have a domestic bias.

I honestly think we should move on from this. Removing spam is not censorship.

Replying to a troll is one thing, but when it comes to supporting a troll, that brings it to a new dimension.

I don't think Andrei is being biased.

Of course muso supports the censorship because the target is me. Thats bias right there.

Andrei your story has changed. You said your reason for removing it. Obviously you didnt like the joke. You didnt allow discussion. You know it wasnt spam. It might have been poor taste but so is the michelle obama thread and that isnt the first michelle obama thread either. Seriously mods fiddling with ppls personal settings is even worse than censorship. Its wrong. Its just wrong. Freediver should do something about muso because he is dishonest and shouldnt have any access to the buttons. Andrei just has no ethics.

I dont remember any other moderators deleting threads because they disagree with them or think they are "idiotic". I was wrong about andrei. He is biased and censors anything he doesnt agree with. This is evidenced by the fact the michelle obama thread is still there.

SOB

He is biased against idiocy. That is quite an appropriate bias. Faking polls that accept anonymous posting is another example of idiocy.

How do you fake a poll?

SOB

You would know. You continue to vote as a guest while logged out.

As did everyone else. Thats how it was set up. Nothing "fake" about it.

Pfft.  Stop acting like it's some big conspiracy.

A rubbish thread got deleted, and another rubbish thread (that was based on an actual article - there's your distinction) will soon be buried and forgotten.

Either way, the world is still turning.

So you think censorship and someone going crazy with power is okay?
