Thats what a university dgree, plus honours, plus a grad cert and a masters gets you, besides a big HECS debt

Good on ya. Well done. My niece got hers paid through private grants. I don't know the details.

You don't have to worry about that HECS until you start earning so much per annum ... and then I think it's only 6% of gross pay. (Been a long time since I looked at this).

Umm I'm 35, so paid it off a while back

those dumb ass cyclist should be banned off the road all together...

they make me sick... how on earth would that guy even know some idiot was riding up the inside of him...

when the rest of the traffic stops those idiots are still slipping up the inside, outside, who knows where they are...

I'd have told that nice person to go F*&% herself.. Angry

My sentiments exactly.

These Leftwing trendies shouldn't be riding bicycles in urban areas any more than should people be riding skateboards in between the cars at stop-lights, and in city traffic.

As much as I can, I ride my electric bike on the pavements to keep well away from annoying the car drivers.  Cool

(Electric-bike riders are Rightwing dudes).

I really don't know whether that was supposed to be funny or offensive.

It wasn't particularly funny, sooo.....

Why is it that our resident red-necks hate cyclists so much ?

Is liking or hating bicycling split on political lines like climate change science ?

Or do rightards have so much hate inside them, they have plenty to share around ?

My money's on the latter.

Because they dress up in their poxy outfits and ride on roads they don't need to be on.
And where they have every right to be, certainly equal to that of car drivers.

Because you give them heaps of room (bike lanes) and they just have to ride on the smacking line.
Again, we have every right to be on the road.  And most bike lanes are inadequate afterthoughts.

They ride in large groups and think they own the road.
It's legal, and we do own the road, again at least as much as car drivers.

Because they pay no registration (they own cars blaa blaa blaa who cares)
And nor should we. I, personally, would never comply with that.

Then they meet at the local cafe for breakfast in their stupid clothes and their stupid shoes.
Would you rather they removed them and walked aroung naked?

Bloody hell i hate 'em.
Good for you, and I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

So, you've made not one valid point, the whole post is nothing but an
irrational attack on a group YOU don't like, for no valid reason BUT that
you do not like them.

BTW: I not only do not wear lycra clothing when riding, I do not even
possess any.

Overtaking on the inside is an offense, or at the very least is stupid......bicycle or car, and as she could plainly see it was a cab, she is a fool not to have foreseen the possibility of a passenger disembarking on the kerbside.

It is NOT, certainly not in Vict-whoria, where this occurred.

The law is on her side.

The passenger committed an offense, she did not.

So? Why not ride on roads more suitable for bikes? Idiots.

Because you give them heaps of room (bike lanes) and they just have to ride on the smacking line.
Again, we have every right to be on the road.  And most bike lanes are inadequate afterthoughts.

Our bike lanes are huge, and they love to ride right on the line. Idiots.

They ride in large groups and think they own the road.
It's legal, and we do own the road, again at least as much as car drivers.

Whoop de do, large groups of these idiots should be forced onto specific roads. You own nothing, road scabs.

Because they pay no registration (they own cars blaa blaa blaa who cares)
And nor should we. I, personally, would never comply with that.

Of course they should, you use it, you help pay for it, your poxy bike lanes aren’t made and painted for free you self-centered tools!!

Then they meet at the local cafe for breakfast in their stupid clothes and their stupid shoes.
Would you rather they removed them and walked aroung naked?

I’d rather they look less like tools.

Bloody hell i hate 'em.
Good for you, and I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

Thank you, I don’t care.

LOL

My points are very valid, self-centered road scabs might disagree.

Being a bike rider and car driver, I can honestly both sets of groups contain idiots. Most however respect each other well.

Yes, but only if you edit what I wrote you would be correct.

However, you are just like the dim witted tool that followed up.

Kudos to the pair of you.

Offensive?  Embarrassed

I actually do ride on the pavement as much as possible ~ carefully.

The reason?

Villa ghetto-housing on quarter acre blocks. It's a recent development and there are scores of them in my neighbourhood already.

What happens is no one can be bothered to park their cars inside these courtyard areas ~ and so they park outside, along the street.

Consequence? I'm forced to ride my bike in the second lane where the cars are streaming past.
