Philips - Rechargeable sonic toothbrush

have you ever thought about getting an electric tooth brush?

do you have one already?

I always thought it was just the lazy mans way of cleaning your teeth to be honest...

over the years your teeth seem to lose their shine... a bit darker perhaps?

we've always brushed twice a day...

I've never had white white teeth, just the normal ivory colour but when I was younger a few of my teeth had little white spots on them...

over the years these seemed to have disappeared...

the mrs has had trouble in the past due to not using enough of a circular motion, just going backwards and forwards until she started wearing through the enamel at the back..

now these toothbrushes that i'll show you below are very expensive... but... I got two out of Korea for half the price..

they say that after two weeks of using these things you'll notice a visible difference in your teeth getting brighter again.. pffft I thought...  Roll Eyes

but just wanted something that may give better dental hygiene...

I use the "gums" mode, I think it is...

but one of the things to look for is the Timed brushing... the gums mode will give 4 x 30 seconds... so bottom right 30 secs, top right 30 secs, bottom left, top left, you get the idea... so they all get the same amount of attention.. then the brushing goes lighter in vibration so you can go higher onto the gums.. I think its 4 x 15 seconds...

we've had these brushes for some time now... over a year I think.. time flies eh...

but guess what... after two weeks to a month my little white spots on my teeth reappeared... whaaaaat..  Shocked

incredible...

so if you want a cleaner brighter smile then I'd suggest you switch to an Electric rechargeable tooth brush with timer... I absolutely luv mine..  Smiley

They do look the business.

After getting extensive dental work a couple of years ago, my dentist recommended getting an electric toothbrush with a timer. I got an Oral B (Braun) jobby.

How easy are replacement brushes to come by for that Philips toothbrush?

I thought you were talking about this

Anyway apparently if you overdo the electric toothbrushing you can take the enamel off your teeth.

you can get them at the local shop or twice as cheap on ebay... the timers make sure all teeth get the same attention as I was saying... I think you can tend to unconsciously favour one side as I found out after using the timer....

it probably doesn't matter what brand it is as long as they do a good job, have a timer, and are rechargeable...

like my rechargeable shaver, Philips products are brilliant...  Smiley

use one with a Timer SOB and you can't go wrong...

as I was saying above, the mrs cut a line of enamel off with the normal one...  using an electric toothbrush it takes away this scrubbing action ..  Smiley
