The state of Queensland.
Mar 28th, 2014 at 2:11pm

When  Tony Fitzgerald (yeas the bloke who lead the Fitzgerald Inquiry into the corruption of the Joh era) sends out public comments of this kind, it is time to take notice.

Quote:
“In one sense, she was an obvious target. It was the Court of Appeal over which she presides which held that Bleijie’s madcap scheme to give himself power to overrule a court’s decision that a prisoner be released was invalid.

“Bleijie’s bizarre response includes a proposal for a new appeal court gives some indication of how far the Justice Department is out of control.

It is appalling that a junior solicitor appointed to a position which is unsurprisingly far beyond his competence and experience has betrayed her honour’s confidence and defamed her.

“His hubris is breathtaking.”

This will end in tears.

Jarrod Bleijie and Campbell Newman think that they can take away peoples basic human rights and people will accept it......Who would want to live in Queensland with this mob in charge???

This litigation has been signalled previously, but it is now on.  Newmann and Bleijie are personally heading to the Supreme Court being sued by a Lawyer for defamation.

They will of course be defended at the expense of the public purse.

I really hope Hannah does not settle pre Trial, and that he makes this pair of turkeys get in a Witness Box in a Trial so that we can publicly have their guts for garters.  There is no room to hide and fudge in that Box.

Yay!

Queensland and law has always sat poorly.  Perhaps an Upper House would help.

An upper house here will be as useless as the Senate in Canberra if the Government (no matter what colour) controls it.

If there was an upper house here now, controlled by the ALP, Newmann would be on his arse.....thrown out at what I assume would be a DD type election.  The bloke is a complete nutter, drunk with the arrogance of power and position.

PUP is fuelling up.  There is no election due here for two years, yet in today's mail, I received a letter from Palmer and a PUP DVD....as part of a campaign he is obviously gearing up for ...... I guess....this year.

Since Aussie is our PUP and Qld authority par excellence, perhaps he could enlighten us why Newman was elected Brisbane's Lord Mayor and later State Premier...  if he is really such a rotter?

I think you'll find your  extras were unnecessary as they didn't contradict anything i said or i'd think add information people didn't already know.

in the case of the gerrymander, it did add by pointing out that the gerrymander was Joh's doing
as they didn't contradict anything i said
but it did inform people that the Hanson persecution was at the hand of Abbott
or i'd think add information people didn't already know
.But you omitted pointing out other relevant facts.

Queensland is the common denominator.

QLD is the only state without an upper house... and it shows.

PUP is down 1.5% since the federal election.  Is that part of the 'gearing up'?  And what do you think happens to PUP when Palmer loses interest as he certainly will do?  No funding at all, no leadership structure and it will make One Nation look competent and organised by comparison.

Does it look to you that Palmer is bored, losing interest or running out of personal motivation, or money?  I think it was you who posted that he (allegedly) outspent everyone in WA by a factor of ten....and he just funded (full on) a campaign in Tasmania, and he is getting ready to politically decapitate his other LNP enemy (he already has Abbott's head in the political bag) Newmann, in Queensland.

Clive is fair dinkum about this, and he does have credible policies.
