No vote no inquiry!

Senate has already voted on it.  It's all in the article.

Thanks, now updated from yesterday when Labour was refusing to back!

That was last week (or maybe a tad earlier.)

Newmann plays the 'wife' card so often, I reckon he is leaving her wide open to political attack as fair game.

Taxpayer's money going into Newmann's campaign to retain his seat of Ashgrove.  Pork barreling at its worse.  This is from today's Courier Mail.....which does not allow me to link it.

Quote:
LNP spends $80m to secure Campbell Newman’s seat of Ashgrove

    STEVEN WARDILL, SARAH VOGLER
    The Courier-Mail
    September 30, 2014 12:00AM

Kate Jones is once again taking on Premier Campbell Newman in her former seat.

Kate Jones is once again taking on Premier Campbell Newman in her former seat.

THE in-joke among political types is that if there’s a state government grant Ashgrove hasn’t got, then Premier Campbell Newman doesn’t know it exists.

New classrooms, enhanced sporting facilities, improved public transport and upgraded roads have all been funnelled into Mr Newman’s northwestern Brisbane electorate over the past 2˝ years.

The LNP is hoping the more than $80 million worth of work in Ashgrove will barricade Mr Newman against former Labor MP Kate Jones’s quest to reclaim the seat.

The big-ticket items in the Ashgrove spending spree, which works out to be more than $2500 per voter, include a $5 million sports hall at The Gap State High School and $3 million on new classrooms for Ashgrove State School.

A $65 million upgrade to the Samford Rd and Wardell St intersection has been the biggest single commitment.

There has also been numerous smaller amounts, including $20,000 for an artist “to explore art”, $8322 for a new kitchen for the scouts and $6160 for a local Italian festival to purchase equipment.

The Sunday Mail revealed at the weekend Ms Jones would seek to contest the seat as she addressed a group of dedicated branch members in an Ashgrove back yard.

Amazing, wot?  And 'you' reckon politics is all fair 'n square.

So.....former LNP Leader, Bruce Flegg has been told today by the Faceless LNP Men that they will not allow him to run for even pre-selection in his very safe LNP seat of Moggil (sp.)  Dunno how they do that, and I expect there will be absolute outrage among the faithfull there.  This will be very controversial.  So.....what does he do?  He is very, very popular there.  He's got a wad of dough - net worth around $M20.  He likely would win as an Independant.......and I reckon Clive will be having a thoughtie.

His seat is right beside that of Newmann's - Ashgrove.....(Brisbane.)  Newmann and Flegg are pretty pally, and Newmann is always personally supportive of Flegg.

Is this part of some grander LNP plan, maybe even to get to/at Newmann?  I have no idea who they have who can credibly replace him.

He is a political prick, but he is the only natural Leader they have.  He sucks with the electorate, even in his own seat.

How very bloody jolly this all is!

only a single man living alone could make such a claim.  Most of us protect our wives.

It may surprise you (and others) to know, melielongtime, that I have run for election to Parliament....as an Independant......did not win............but got way more than enough votes to make a nice  profit on the project, and not once was the Indian Bride specifically mentioned by name or photographed during that campaign.  If I had, I would have opened her up to the scrutiny Newmann has to his Wife.  You cannot play that hand without it being called.

Her Royal Majesty after being summonsed by Qld Citizen saw to it the Heiner Commission was Established.

Reply is awaited from Her Royal Majesty to Qld Government via its Attorney General taking away Criminal Court approval to hear criminal charges when they be against an employee of Qld Government, especially when such person is engaged in obtaining money from Qld Citizens to give to Qld Government.

So Newmann is not eyeing the 'sacked' Flegg's seat:

Link.

While it might be true, I am not buying it yet.  Newmann is seven points behind in the Polls in his seat of  Ashgrove.  If they have not dumped Flegg to make way for Newmann in Flegg's Moggill seat (right next door to Newmann's Ashgrove in Brisbane)......why dump a bloke who was going to romp home next election?

It's DaS.  it started insane with a dash of stupid to it.  End result... nothing even understandable never-mind correct.

Clive Palmer is taking legal action against the people who are being probed, he's set up the inquiry and now one of his senators is chairing it - See more at: http://www.skynews.com.au/news/politics/national/2014/10/03/qld-govt-could-refuse-senate-probe.html#sthash.mDVnu9JC.dpuf
