Anyone can work it out.  If you do not have profit from 'trading,' and you need to use capital to prop up your business over an extended period, you are stuffed.  Eventually, you run out of capital....assets to sell......and what then?  That's where Newmann is, and he does not care about the 'what then,' because it will be someone else's problem.

This is when Andrei comes along, does the voodoo and explains where the magic milions come from.

I would hope anyone could work that out Aussie,  but we are talking about people in a bubble..  who can't actually think for themselves.  Just listen to any QLD MP.

Of course,  this 'idea' was one of the things that lost Bligh the last election.  Can Newman now win.. with that idea.?

That will surely show the depth and mettle of the QLD public.  This is a crucial election, in that respect.

Indeed, Miss Palozchet  is unelectable in her current "best and less" attire , with that woeful hairdo and her current $2 shop blusher and eye liner.
One of the snappier dressers from Labor should have helped her out. surely Wong could have found her a nice business suit. She actually looks to be wearing Christine Milnes hand-me-downs

i beleive this to be true. Some like Aussie believe the electorate all to be rocket scientists analysing the governments  performance , promises etc etc. The truth is the majority of the voters are extremely shallow and given that only relatively minor swings are need to retain or change government politicians appearance and how they perfom and look in the media matter greatly. Remember John Howard and his makeover?  Im convinced that won the election for him, Australian voters are extremely shallow. And unless the labour party dumps Shorten they havent a hope in hell federally either.

shallower than a puddle.  I doubt miss polazchet would be recognised in her local supermarket by anyone.
Christ, i'm on a political forum site and I didn't know what she looked like til I saw her on telly a few nights ago.
I thought she was just some random shopper the journo was asking questions to.
wouldn't have made the local state school debating team.

Ian, you seem ignorant of basic facts concerning the state of Queensland.  The ALP has 9 seats and I think the Libs have about 70.  There is nothing marginal about this election.  The ALP face an impossible task, but if they get close, they will have delivered a huge blow to Newmann and Abbott.

to be honest, i was ignorant of that. i wondered about that risk taker comment.  I only look at pollies media performance these days, seems to be the only thing which matters to the electorate. I still dont see any big swing against him. The LNP in general are quite adept at only making political decisions which affect the people who dont vote for them anyway.

The main thing holding the ALP back at the moment is a lack of talented people in the Parliament. The current members are fine, but there are simply not enough of them. Who are the Ministers going to be? People who aren't in parliament right now.

The ALP won't win, but they will be in a much stronger position once the composition of their front bench is decided at the ballot box.

The LNP are not without their own problems. Who will be Premier if Newman loses his seat?

I cannot recall any election where there was so much uncertainty about the senior Ministers of both sides.

Only an egotistical snob would think that way and Labor voters don't fall into that category.

Shallow people vote for Vogue wannabe's, grounded folk vote for principles and ideals.

Newmann before the last State election:

Quote:
Newman: "There are many dedicated men and women in the public service - do not be afraid of me" He went on to immediately sack 20,000 people in the public service. Newman said: "All public servants in the Queensland should look forward to a bright and rewarding future with the LNP" - thats 20,000 public servants without an income as soon as he came to power.
Put a stop to this rubbish

It is the text to a PUP TV ad.

you havent noticed that the vast majority of Australian voters are shallow ? they vote only in their own self interest, Howard understood that very well on a federal level.
