*Just some housekeeping*

Key seats indicate LNP in trouble.

Unless I've mis-read the figures, in the 2012 election, the ALP had a 15.6% swing against it.  Looking at the ABC's Antony Green's tables, there are 35 seats held by the LNP now with less than a 12% margin.  It will be down to the wire if there is a 12% swing back to the ALP.....but if there is a correction of the full 15.6%, then the ALP win.

I see absolutely no reason why there would not be that full 15.6% correction, so much does Newmann and the LNP stink up here.

Aussie?  I hope you read it correctly.

Queensland is a fine barometer for the current situation in Australian politics - neither 'side' has the goods any more, and unless they divest themselves of the same old endless rubbish they will never be a secure government anywhere here again.

I say a new party for the people is needed, along with a lot of changes.

The best we can hope for is a hung parliament.

Zu befehlen, Mein fuhrer - ve vill hang zem in zer morning!

https://au.news.yahoo.com/a/26091652/palaszczuk-says-labor-to-repeal-bikie-laws/

"Queensland's opposition leader says she'll repeal and replace Queensland's controversial anti-bikie legislation.

Labor Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk says she has a "zero tolerance" stance on criminal gangs but doesn't believe the laws brought in by the current Liberal National Party government are worth keeping.

Ms Palaszczuk says the new legislation hasn't resulted in a single conviction.

She says pre-existing laws and increased police resources have been the successful elements of the state-wide crackdown.

But the opposition leader refused to elaborate on what a Labor government would replace the laws with, saying only that her yet to be released law and order policy would make that clear.

"Convictions have happened under the criminal code and other pieces of legislation," she said.

"We will release our law and order policy during this campaign ... we will repeal and we will replace, but the fundamental principle is zero tolerance, zero tolerance.

"If the police need extra resources they will get the resources that they need."

Ms Palaszczuk also slammed Premier Campbell Newman for his claims unions were using money from criminal motorcycle gangs to fund her campaign.

She said Mr Newman had descended into gutter tactics to distract voters from his plans to lease state assets if re-elected.

"If there is any evidence, any evidence, refer it to the police or refer it to the authorities," she said."

I'd like LNP supporters to indicate in advance what they would regard as a resounding thrashing or rejection of Newmann's LNP Government.  Does it require outright defeat or would the loss of...................how many....................seats mean exactly the same thing?

Newman has gone always was nuts.

HTS did this guy get through Duntroon?  Affirmative action of some kind as currently pervades that institution...?   If this is what they expect to lead Australian troops in a future conflict - expect many 'fraggings'.

Time for a review of selection?  Overdue if you ask me......

So, at last.  Newmann's tactic of threatening Queensland that he will only deliver promises made to those electorates who return the LNP candidate ~ should the LNP win Government.  That had to be a bribe.  Tomorrow, the AEC will be asked to investigate.

we need Newman to stay there and to fix the QLD budget so that us Victorians don't have to subsidise the Queenlander halfwits that keep voting for Labor who gets them into massive debt and run a lawless state...

Not need - you WANT Newman to stay there. You must be one of the rusted-ons.

You're not going to enjoy Saturday night much if Newman loses his own seat.
