just how popular a right wing nationalist can be. Now Adolph went off the rails in about 1939 but his model from 34 to 39 was very very appealing to an enormous slab of people.

Do you think France should request massive loans,  build a gargantuan armaments industry, annex Belgium and make territorial claims across their borders against Germany and Britain?

No, they should develop the "French youth", mandatory physical training and "French pride" rallies and camps. Wave the flag, honour the great history of a nation which has given the world so much.
They can have a French cooking world fair
They can have marches, rallies and a national curriculum that talks about the greatness of French art, architecture.
They can get a bit of god dam pride in their country and they can sideline anyone (ie the muslim ghettos) that don't want to be part of it.
Anyone living in france who doesn't love , honour and celebrate "frenchness" can be arrested by the new French gestapo and sent to a French concentration camp for re education. (sorry, I got a bit carried away there at the end).

Orgh, haw, haw, haw... oo la la...

John, it would be helpful if you could respond to the topic...

You've noticed it too, have you?

There's also the peripatetic 'Rubin'.

When they've got nowhere to hide so far as losing an argument ~ their next best strategy is to then start a campaign of ad hominems in the hope this will distract from their failure.

I'm afraid the time has probably come for jackboots north. There are parts of france where the French police WILL NOT patrol.
This is intolerable.
You simply have to increase the heat until you fry the bad guys.
To do otherwise will only result in the cancer spreading.
There is a lot more wonderful things about French culture than there is about Algerian culture.
Cultural Marxists have it all wrong.

The extreme Right should be crushed, wherever and whenever it raises its filthy head.

There is no place for them in any decent society.

I agree, they should be crushed immediately after they have "cleaned up the streets" Wink

lol.  That's quite an extreme viewpoint.  Rather fascist too.

Was this intended to be ironic?

More rightwingers in power = higher chance of war.

Nothing a rightwinger likes more than a good war.

Really north , it isn't rocket science.
Countries like france, Holland etc are seeing a lot of muslim enclaves.
Now we can PRETEND its all "rich tapestry win/win" but the public have stopped buying it.
As a rough , Hugh Mackay type guess I would think 50 % of the population of france are worried about the muslim issue.
If the centrist politicians wont address the issue , then the right wingers will gain ground.
So its up to the moderate muslims and sensible politicians to relentlessly stick the boot into the "non assimilators".
Its in their best interest.
This is just common sense and pragmatism.
Of course, for this reason, it is unlikely to happen Wink
