Christine Milne says Tony Abbott is ruling for Gina Rinehart and Rupert Murdoch

Greens leader Christine Milne says Prime Minister Tony Abbott is governing in the interests of mining magnates and media moguls and predicts he will be unable to manage an unruly Senate after July 1.      

Mr Abbott campaigned in Western Australia for the state's half-Senate election on Monday, highlighting his government's commitments to repeal the carbon and mining taxes.

Mr Abbott also announced his government had struck a deal with West Australian Premier Colin Barnett for a National Disability Insurance Scheme trial from July 1.

Mr Abbott said Opposition Leader Bill Shorten was not being straight with voters by equivocating over the future of the mining tax in the west, but voting to retain it in Canberra.

''Labor is voting for the carbon tax and for the mining tax in the Senate, Labor and the Greens are in coalition in the Senate in Canberra … they are the reason why we are still stuck with these taxes,'' he said.

But in a speech at the National Press Club on Tuesday, Senator Milne will describe the Coalition as an ''Abbott, Murdoch, Rinehart collaboration directed and promoted by the Institute of Public Affairs''.      

Her Senate colleague Scott Ludlam faced an uphill fight to hang on to his seat on Saturday.

But Senator Milne will argue Mr Abbott has his head ''buried in the 20th century'' and that he is ''governing for the greedy few''.      

She will say Mr Abbott's political strategy of crashing through problems will fail ''because he simply doesn't have the leadership skills to deal with the Senate he cannot avoid. Only the Greens can make the Senate work.''

Mr Shorten also campaigned in Western Australia on Monday, highlighting local dissatisfaction with the Barnett government and accusing the government of hiding the cuts that would arise from the Commission of Audit.

He brushed aside questions about a slump in Labor's primary vote in Monday's Newspoll, which had fallen from 36 percentage points in the last quarter of last year to 29 percentage points in the first quarter of this year.

''This is one of the most significant chances that West Australians have to make their mark on the Commonwealth of Australia, by picking senators who will not be a rubber stamp for the Abbott Liberal government,'' he said ''The biggest concern in this election is that people don't turn out to vote.''

The very fact that Milne said it automatically discredits it. You don't have to like Abbott to see the fundamental truth that he is governing for everyone. To say otherwise is idiotic.

Let's face it Milne is delusional.

Milne is, like the other boggle eyed green clown, full of nonsensical comments which have no relation to fact or logicality, not unlike the absolute guff you come out with here!

You are quite the rude individual.  I might add that I've not yet seen a single post of yours that has anything in it other than anger, vitriol and abuse.  When you have something of actual value to say then you will be heard, assuming people don't die of shock first.
