Well done on demonstrating yet again the paucity of your debating style by using a deflection. And your case was weakened pretty substantially by denying His existence in the first place. So far, you are not doing real well at this.

The title of this thread is: "How gullible are some people?"

My answer is: "Very".

Exhibit A:

"His existence is beyond doubt. There is far more evidence for Jesus' existence than most figures of antiquity."

Then why don't you cite references to support your position? There are very few that reject Jesus' existence and they are all without exception, people with a side-issue to address.  Very few academics or researchers question for a moment that Jesus lived on earth.

Doesn't work that way, old chum.

You are the one claiming that Jesus Christ existed: it's up to you to provide evidence.

However, I can play your childish game if you wish ...

The world was created by an invisible purple unicorn that lives at the bottom of my garden.

You think I'm wrong?  Well, in that case, why don't you cite references to support your position?

You are in for a long battle with Greggery. He will play this out using every illogical and childish move he can.

You're right; historians overwhelmingly support the factual existence of a man named Jesus 2000 years ago. Sure many won't believe him to be the Son of God, but they don't doubt the man himself existed.

No matter what you say Greggery will not accept it. If you prove him 100% wrong, he will simply come back with a stupid picture. The man has no shame and no real work to do.

As for the begging up the arse, well you have claimed that is what you do with your women. They offer you pussy, you ask for arse.

If you put this information on the forum, don't complain to the mods when it gets quoted back at you.

He certainly doesn't (a spoilt child, no doubt).

I'm interested in hearing what government department I work for.

Wouldn't mind reading some of my reviews on Amazon either.

I know where you got the Amazon idea from, but the government worker one really stumps me: I'll be interested to see what you come up with (well, not really that interested).

Yeah, I know!  Pretty gullible, huh?   Roll Eyes

His existence is beyond doubt. There is far more evidence for Jesus' existence than most figures of antiquity.  But feel free to cling to your delusion if you must.

His existence yes - no argument.  His philosophies and sayings etc?  Not so sure...

As one of the House of David he was legally entitled (like Robert De Broos in Sco'land**) to a claim to the throne over Herod - THAT was his 'crime'.

His saying and philosophies and resurrection (as opposed to erections) seem to be the additions some centuries later of a group of men who sat down to organise a church....

**Scotland - named after the Gael Queen Scotia - of whom I am a descendant...

You and Prickery are fapping each other over a book neither of you have read.

That's you Progs in a nutshell.

I've read it.

Here's my review:

By Amazon Customer "grrreg"

"An oxymoron written by a nice person"

"Conservative values and institutions are what revolutions occur to change. The idea that you can have a revolution to institute conservative thinking and approaches is wrong-headed, shows a possible deliberate disregard for the truth, and is by dictionary definition an oxymoron. And by his words, Cory Bernardi shows he is a simple nice person and undeserving of holding any position of power, elected, appointed or employed."

So I read your review. As I was reading it I found this...

Quote:
I work for the Australian Government, and my reading habits have changed quite a bit in recent times. This is because my work has become more demanding, so I want my reading to be less demanding.

As such, I'm mostly reading genre fiction - principally the Doctor Who series (as it was my favourite TV show as a child) and Sherlock Holmes books (which I started reading as a teenager).

I'm currently submitting reviews of books I am reading (some of which have been sitting on my shelf for a few years!) and going back over all the Doctor Who books, both adaptations and original novels.

By the way, I have found the Amazon Auctions area excellent for finding out-of-print Doctor Who books, and would heartily recommend the services of Third Zone (who use the name 'supremedalek' in auctions) who have given me excellent service.

Along with reviews for 341 other books, mostly Doctor Who.

What was it you said again?

Yes, I am denying that I'm employed by the government, and I'm denying that I do book reviews on Amazon.

Q. "How gullible are some people?"
