Gillard wouldn't sit and listen to Abbott because she didn't want to listen to a misogynist, she said. Then she installed one of the biggest misogynists in federal parliament in the Speaker's position - Peter Slipper. Is she a liar or a sexist or both?

Abbott and his mob are sexists and liars too. Is there a politician in either of the major parties who isn't a chronic liar?

Scott Ludlum.

I am glad that Rudd's Manus Island solution worked. Shame Rudd was not still in office to take the credit for his plan.

Mr Bowen, indeed.

Never trust a man whose lips are narrower than the width of his nose.

There really should be criminal penalties against politicians who are later found to have served up lies and deceit to the public for their own ideological advantage.

Give Labour man ex-Foreign Minister Bob Carr his due ~ he ruffled a lot of Labour feathers when he publicly announced that nearly all of the asylum-seekers were economic migrants. As an insider he knew then what we are only just learning now ~ and then only through the good graces of the 'rightwing' tabloid, The Daily Telegraph.

If that were true, the Coalition would now be ruling both Houses in federal parliament what with all the ALP members and senators before a Judge...

Armchair Politician berating people for deliberately misleading the public.  Was that an irony meter that I just heard explode?

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I'd bet he's still scratching his head wondering why too!  Wink

Probably doesn't have time to scratch his head.

Too busy changing the text from reputable news sources in order to make more posts based on ignorant bigotry and pure hatred.

AP is a busy little beaver.

Well, Rudd was the one who f vcked it all up in 2008.

His last minute attempt was his Causescu moment - caught in the headlights, waiving confusedly  - and ran over, all the same.

What you need to remember about the border security policy is this: Labor failed dismally, Coalition succeeded far quicker than anyone anticipated. It's that simple.

Yes, Labor failed.  I've never said anything to the contrary.

Everyone has failed, when it comes to the treatment of asylum seekers.  Liberal and Labor.

Now, just remember to stop changing the text of news stories to suit your own needs.

Listened to every word. Twice.

There were no lies, and it was anything but a rant.

To claim otherwise is nothing but denial of the facts.
