Some Italians are nice... we had an Italian neighbour when I was a kid - Joe Romano (believe it!) - and he was a really lovely guy - loved his family, worked hard, fed us neighbour's kids Italian food and all.

Italians are nice ~ like all the other ethnics ~ but don't ever, I mean EVER bring your OWN country into the conversation. Big BIG no-no.

Just as long as you keep quiet, and smile, and nod, and listen pleasantly and agreeably to their chatter about their own country, and traditions, and food, and achievements, and glories, and .. and ... and ... it's all smiling faces, goodwill, and merry conviviality.

Start talking about England, or Australia in the same vein as they're talking about Italy or Greece or Yugoslavia, and the atmosphere turns very chilly, very quickly.

All that wonderful, warm-and-friendly bonhomie evaporates like spaghetti at a Big Fat Italian Wedding.

Am I right, John?  Smiley

John? Hey?
*slap**slap*

You've gotten everything else wrong so far, why break a perfectly good record.

Yes, I believe stimulation of the brain cells can have that effect. Instead of a pearl, you get a brain tumour. Most unfortunate.

So what does Pickering feel about poor Ian? A victim of the lebbos?

I really don't know, but Pickering has his fingers-on-the-pulse in other areas ... ones that should concern us all, even John.

Enjoy

the bigger concern is that you actually read Pickering ...

The worst thing about corruption in Australia is that by global standards, we are pure and honest. I don't know that says good things about us or just bad things about everyone else.

'Eternal vigilance' seems to be the answer to keeping the bastards honest.

Another rats nest of The Usual Suspects ...

(This is an update on the story)

Plot against Birmingham schools was uncovered in document last month.

Muslim extremists allegedly plotted to overthrow moderate school leaders.

Nicknamed Operation Trojan Horse, document told how to force staff out.

Probe into alleged hardline Muslim plot now been expanded to 25 schools.

Birmingham City Council appoints special adviser to probe allegations.

Children in schools in Manchester and Bradford may be at risk of similar plot.

Ofsted inspectors are told to fail any school that appears to be involve

link

These are 5th Columnists who are conducting a war against Britain from the inside ~ and yet the British government leaves it to the local councils to appoint someone to 'probe allegations'.  Grin

It's just too insane for words. If the British National Party ever get into power during my lifetime, I'll return First Class to Britain after an absence of 52 years just to be there to attend the Treason Trials of the politicians who have so royally fcuked up a country that once belonged solely to the unhyphenated locals.

And yes, I'd be amongst those noisily clamouring for the death penalty, and if the irate mobs decided to do a 'Mussolini' on these traitors, I wouldn't try to intervene.
