Scott Ludlum for President
Apr 4th, 2014 at 3:23pm

Quote:
Scott Ludlam for President?

By Kaye Lee on April 4, 2014      • ( 37 )

Imagine having a head of State who was calm, articulate, honest, dignified, compassionate, knowledgeable, respectful, practical, hard-working. The more I see of Scott Ludlam the more these words echo in my mind.

His maiden speech to the Senate in 2008 conjured up a future vision in which the right kinds of technology are used to deliver the right kinds of human outcomes, while the wrong kinds are left on the scrapheap of history as being inefficient and outmoded. The speech was peppered with words like “Pelton generators”, hot rocks technology, “large solar thermal plants”, “world-class broadband”, “fast, affordable mass transit”. He wondered what the human race might become if we harnessed our engineering potential, our skill with tools, in a much better way than we currently are — a way that would not be inherently harmful to our planet.

Ludlum is probably the most honest, decent politician in Canberra, from ANY party.

I first struck him while fighting Labor's net-censorship scheme, and was impressed with him then.

He has vision, integrity and determination, and is neither abusive nor arrogant with it.

Apart from, perhaps, his youth, he has all the makings of a very good future PM.

Really, only the biased and/or the stupid could reasonably claim otherwise.

I don't mind Scott Ludlam.....The problem is the rest of the party and their loony policies.....The Greens have no idea about how the world really works and would decimate our economy if they ever gained any power!!!

Refused to back Rudd's ETS and instead ended up with nothing!!!

Did a deal with Labor to support them in Government and introduced an economy negative carbon tax that was far to expensive in the current economic climate!!!

Supported Labor in the Parliament yet attacked them in the media!!!

Allowed Hockey to remove the limit on borrowing so our debt can rise without any restraint!!!

Have said they will support Abbott's PPL at 2/3 the limit but still well above what is equitable....Despite no support from most of the public including Coalition voters!!!

Because of the Greens we now have Direct Action and no protection for the environment because they refused to negotiate a workable environment policy and went for broke.....If the ALP ever deal with the Greens again they will lose a lot of voters including me!!!

Angry Angry Angry

Did you notice that the text in the OP was exactly the same as the text in the original story?

Why is it, that when we follow a link to the stories you quote, the text is different?

Why do you alter other people's work?

Have you always been involved in fraud, or is it something new?

Yes it is very deceitful to change the context of an article you have not written Greg.....It gives a false impression of what the article is trying to articulate and shows a lack of maturity to debate issues on their merits.....What did you expect from someone who's own opinions are worthless???

Huh Huh Huh

Yes, in retrospect I could have phrased that somewhat better...

That doesn't stop our resident fraudster, AP:

http://www.ozpolitic.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1396490825

He changed every reference to 'asylum seekers' to 'illegal immigrants'.

What sort of person does that?

Ludlam is as irrational and immature as the rest of the Greens his anti-Abbott rant the other day proves it.

You are delusional. He is a member of a party which policies if enacted would see Australias complete economic ruin. You only have to look at the Greens loyal followers posting on here to work out theres a few screws loose. Ludlum may be passionate, thats about it.
