David Cameron is facing embarrassment over the close links between a Government adviser on religion and an Islamist group placed under urgent investigation.

The Prime Minister last week ordered the security services to look into the Muslim Brotherhood amid fears its leaders, exiled from Egypt, are plotting terrorist attacks from London.

He said the inquiry would establish ‘the complete picture’ of the Brotherhood including its possible involvement with ‘violent extremism’ and its ‘presence here in the UK’.

But the investigation is likely to lead to red faces in Whitehall, as a scion of the Muslim Brotherhood’s founding family is a senior ministerial adviser.

Tariq Ramadan is one of 14 members of the Foreign Office’s Advisory Group on Freedom of Religion or Belief, chaired by Tory peer Baroness Warsi. He is Professor of Contemporary Islamic Studies at Oxford University, and was a member of a taskforce set up by Tony Blair after 7/7.

Well, let's give this current circus in Canberra a little more time before we make a firm judgment about them.

It still remains to be seen what the Abbott administration will do for Australia in practical terms. It's all a bit early yet to start writing forensic reports about the damage this lot might be inflicting upon the good people of this far-flung antipodean colony of the Mother Country. 

Abbott may very well end up as a Christ-like figure who saves us from our fiscal sins and becomes a cult figure to future generations of grateful Australians.

Generations yet unborn who are suffering from various infirmities may very well be visiting his tomb to touch the polished surfaces in order to effect a cure for whatever it is that ails them, just as the pilgrims do at Lourdes. 

It may very well come to pass that Abbott's tomb will eventually be at the epicentre of a vast radiating field of cast-away crutches, walkers, spectacles, hearing aids, Viagra bottles, etc etc.

So let's not rush to judgment too quickly, Lady Pansi.

Considering most Northern Hemisphere nations are
over-populated with Breeders (physical)
ruled by a (gay) minority of Educated people (mentally)
...which translates as a very physically strong person

Here in Australia - its a majority of intelligent people
