Admittedly in this case why be angry at the driver? Its not going to bring your daughter back and as he said this driver has to live for the rest of his life with this.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

How many people have been killed on the roads because of mobile phones distracting the driver?

They may just as well be registered as lethal weapons.

As you say, full kudos to him.

I have no idea how I would react if it happen to me. I would like to think I could be magnanimous enough to do as he has, but I doubt I could get pass my grief.

As you say, full kudos Peter Frazer.

This guy has real guts. No point in feeling angry or bitter, what's done is done.

Now he can get on with his life.

Full credit to him.

Putting myself in his position I can understand that forgiving this fellow for the unintentional deaths he caused would be therapeutic in helping one to cope with the awful loss of ones daughter, and that indulging in hate and anger would only have added to the tragedy that has already occurred.

Same here....

During the sentencing hearing, Justice Stephen Hanley acknowledged Barnett was distracted, but he had failed in his obligation to check the road ahead was clear.

A preventable accident.
