Rolf has got away with his 'funny stuff' for decades. We all have to pay the piper at some stage of our life, for the misdeeds we have done along the way.

Rolf is currently paying the Piper and will continue to do so until he dies...gaol or no gaol, he is washed up and totally discredited. His reputation in tatters is a far worse sentence for him than the gaol time.

and yet he still holds to this day an Order or Australia..  Huh

Scott Morrison supports child abuse, and he's a member of the Australian Parliament.

Pay bigtime gretchen

Well, it's true.

And supporters of the Liberal Party advocate child abuse too.

Not one of them has come out to condemn the government's actions.

Every single one of them like to see children abused.

Instead of being remembered as an entertainer of some stature Rolf Harris will be remembered as a molester of women and girls, regardless of what 'orders of merit' he is still clinging onto, as they are being ripped from him.

I'm not saying this applies in this case ~ but it is occurring far too often that a person found guilty of sexual offences is later proven to be completely innocent.  That is why there is an appeal process.  There was some pretty technical legal stuff for the Judge to properly instruct on, and for the Jury to absorb particularly concerning the use they can make of the several charges when considering guilt on just one.

can you name a few???

I have seen one or two cases.. but most are PROVED....and thats distressing...there is something very sick with a society that thus far we have not been able to stop these people that seem to think it is normal...... do they not show some signs of bad behavior froma young age? or do they just turn into paedophiles..or abusers over night???>..

its a shame that a mere technical term can overturn a case like sexual abuse that went on for years...."technical" doesnt do it for me..

and I bet London to a brick it doesnt do it for the victim either.

Not so, prison time is indeed a very big worry for Rolfy boy, as the recent report on him cowering in fear as he was spat at in Church. It landed on the guy next to him and a fight broke out. Rolfy boy was indeed terrified according to the media reports.

When he's let out in a few months time he should emigrate to one of the South East Asian countries where people with his appetite are welcomed as an income source by the local parents.

As his lawyers are applying to be able to appeal, I think he should be given another five years if his application is rejected, which I imagine it will be.

I see, he's in prison for his own protection is he? I thought it was a punishment for a lifetime of perverted criminal behaviour against children and women. I'd put the old bastard's lights out permanently!

Who protected his victims?

And anyway, he need only ask for protective custody, but being the narcissistic egotist that he has always been, the idea of not having an audience is just too much for him to accept.

I doubt that.

In terms of being a paedophile he is in the lowest category of criminal offender.

No rape. Not even consensual penetration of a minor. No buggery. No oral sex. No choir boys.

To crims a ped is a ped. He wouldnt have had a choice herbert. The prison has a duty of care, they decide, not him. And if your read the same news articles you keep posting you will find I am correct.

He should be in jail.

It sets a precedent for all the other aging perverts who are getting caught up in the paedophile net.
