I think, that when trying to enforce the law retrospectively, then one should also try to cast their minds back to freer times, if they possess the ability.

He may have been outside the bounds of the law in his day if the charges are upheld, however, the penalties if convicted nowadays are enough to destroy all art.
And Rolf has been an artful one. A splendid artful human being.

Not saying at all that this gave him any right to go touching up young girls. But it was the Andy Warhol era, and art was king, as much then as it is now very much not today.

thats an odd outlook I must say... it isnt our nature to parade...as you call it.. and not sure in which way you are referring .. I presume provocative....... who are you to presume thats what they are doing.. maybe it was your dirty mind...and wishful thinking...for that matter...

girls of 13 would very rarely be trying to entice an older man to look at them.. it would give them the creeps...one or two may well be advanced for their years but it would be rare I am sure..America maybe where they seem to want their girls to grow up FAST..

in Rolfs case I think he thought he had rights special rights...celebrity and all that.

will he go to jail?.. I cant see it happening...he is being punished beyond anything jail would do...

sex offenders list...omg....

I would hate to be the judge as those women would need some justice for any of this to be worth the trauma....
