here we see the consequences of the abuse of entitlement.. fame.. and power..
perhaps..some lessons learned..?
.... Emma Peel.

Now I haven't read your last response because I want to say quite clearly  ...

... that there is no doubt in my mind that the witnesses are speaking truly...

...inappropriate incidents occurred.. multiple times.. over yrs...

Whether that constitutes a crime...???  not up to me... up to  the JURY.

Like I said... an important time in legal history..

Isn't it amazing how much one can make from so little.?
Lawyers excel at that I have seen... and paid for that knowledge.

You have said ...in the role of the  DEVIL'S ADVOCATE....
in very sparse terms I might add...

that  " a person known to have  (OK I PARAPHRASE.... JUST FOR CLARIFICATION NEH?)  done something on Monday, Must have therefore done the same thing on Friday  "... and that this is NOT valid logic.

I agree, but again I say.. that is not this...
IF  U R NOT SAYING THAT
What R U saying>???  Grin

I UNDERSTAND  you are poking holes in the process occurring.

Perhaps you  have some validity in your preposition...
in some instances..quite possible.
But not this one.

I'm saying this:

Me robbing a bank on Monday cannot ever be evidence (acceptable proof) that I robbed another bank on Friday.

Well I beg to differ...

if witnesses saw you on Monday, robbing a Bank,
and other witnesses saw you on Friday, robbing a Bank...

what .??

The answer is not  that you only robbed one but not the other  eh..?? nor ...
that you robbed neither,,

...YOU ROBBED BOTH BANKS..!!  Neh?

what is the issue..??  YOU ROBBED BOTH BANKS..!!  Neh?

Yeas.....you have caught me there.  So.....to clarify:

Even though I deny I robbed a Bank on Monday, a Jury has concluded I did.....that conclusion by itself does not overcome my denial that I robbed a Bank on Friday, even if there is some suggestion I did.

Probably a very bad analogy to make what I thought was a simple point.  I should have stayed within the boundaries of allegations of sexual misconduct.

Well done.

well thank you ...

do you get my position tho..??

sexual assault.. child abuse etc  rarely takes place ..WITH WITNESSES to those acts.  ...
unless they be participating.. if you get my drift.  Sad

Where does the Law leave us... the innocent and abused...??  ...
if this principle you seek .. whatever it is..??  what ..photographic evidence..??  what do you need??

to believe that these things happen...indeed are common knowledge ..??

and Justice  delayed.. is not Justice is IT.??

but Justice  eventually...  is SOMETHING.!

Well  .. that is not  just a 'conclusion' is it ? .. it is a finding of Guilt by the Jury... you are GUILTY.

That FINDING by the JURY ??

Well .. surely it would apply if both robberies were witnessed...  the Monday one...  obviously..

the Friday Robbery was  SUGGESTED... ??  by whom...?  the Police..?? no witnesses..??

SEE AUSSIE  ??  Surely you know there is NO simple POINT when it comes to LAW.!! Grin Grin Smiley

hmmm..  and now you got me thinking..

how does this RH Case differ to any significant degree,  when placed against the crimes uncovered by the clergy of our Churches..??   It took .. well almost hell and high water to bring them to answer...

is it that showbiznezz  has more support..??
well??
the show business didn't work for the Catholic or Anglican churches, in the long run  , to name just a couple...!!!

Are showmen any less to be held responsible..??

eyewitness testimony is notoriously innacurate anyway and medical professionals are also notorious for implanting "experiences" in childrens minds. so where does that leave us?

But Ian... we are not talking about EYE witness accounts here.
Are we??

Has someone come forward and said they witnessed assaults by RH.?  I don't know.. I doubt it..  so your point is  what?  exactly.??

perhaps medical professionals Smiley may be responsible..??

You may hold that separate testimonies from different witnesses over different times,  for similar acts,, PROVES the witnesses are liars...

It wouldn't conclude that all are liars. There are other possibilities. It may be that one is lying, one misinterpreted, one is over exaggerating, one mistook identity, one remembered incorrectly...a mixture of some, none, all or other.
That's why each should be taken on it's merits. If you live long enough, you'll be exposed to many possibilities.
It seems likely that he has, at the very least, done some wrong things. But to what extent is hard to judge on the evidence I've seen...for me anyway.

Well  It MAY be ,  it COULD be, that all are liars.. the chances of that..??  Very low probability

OR is it a combination of lies, and misunderstanding??
Low probability

Or  ??  it could be true.

More Likely than Not.

IMO  ..

but hey I  am not on the Jury.. Smiley

Yes Indeed... let each piece of testimony be taken on it's merits.

It is not for you to judge.. so not to worry..

Let's face it, with the Media and the Femnazis whipping up hysteria at every turn added to peoples natural repulsion for such crimes, anyone, RH included, when accused is required to PROVE his innocence, there is NO presumption of innocence any more.
How does an accused prove he DIDN'T do something?
Whatever you, I, or anyone else feels about the situation, it's the "twelve good men and true" sequestered in that room who will make the decision, and there's very little doubt which way that will go, is there?
Given the time it's taking I would presume there's at least one juror who feels uncomfortable with the "witch trial" that's taking place, irrespective of RH's guilt or otherwise.
The bottom line is that they're being asked to decide between one persons word and another's, the fact that there's several others shouldn't make any difference but the simple fact is that it will anyway.
RH doesn't have a snowballs chance in Hell of getting off, and never did, once the accusation went public he was done for, "and that's all she wrote".
Sad but true, like it or not.
It's all over bar the shouting, and the inevitable small fortunes the accusers will make selling their stories to the media, and I don't doubt for a moment that somewhere there's an agent working on a movie deal.
