says lots of stuff... but cannot argue the matter...  can only try to be insulting...   Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

BUT  IAN..??!!

Achtung!!

I look forward to any one thing you might like to say in defense of your position...

I find Emma to have an inquiring mind and a reasonably open approach to issues... she is happy to listen to another point of view with which she may not agree.. some could learn for this.

e.g :-

>'domestic violence' laws;
>'bikie' laws;
>drink driving laws (Australia applies arbitrarily the LOWEST value in the world at 0.05 - ALL others are 0.08 and above).
>'gun' laws (read excessive control for political aims)
>surveillance and record keeping that denies justice (CNI etc).

nah u  aren't paranoid Kegs

and I agree that the lessons of old .. er.... are now ignored, or decried, or are, even, unknown...

we continue to repeat our mistakes..

it becomes tiresome to be a witness to such idiocy over decades.

Once upon a time I thought we could all change for the better...
so..?? I was a flower child..  child of the 60's.. teen of the 70's...

... but never a greedy ahole of the 80's or 90's...  I slogged my guts out....  and now  ?   Smiley Smiley

hey  I do live in a paradise..  no money... but .. money doesn't MATTER.

Hmm - never a flower child myself - I joined the Army at 17 - but always thought things could and should be better.

I also live in a paradise with not much money - but it's still good.

Many ask why I continue the good fight - I do so for my grand-children's sake.  Very Oriental that is... tough I'm not Oriental at all.

..but don't we all, generally, want right to prevail?  Well,  not all..  but most of us???

or have we...  become disillusioned ..cynical..  and selfish..?

ah sorry ..don't expect you to have the answer.. Smiley..

I agree. She's a word cartoonist

I'm a big fan of Emma's. She's original and marvelously theatrical. If I owned a newspaper I would have her doing a weekly column in just the same style as she does here.  Smiley

Damn RIGHT it DOESN'T MATTER!

From where I sit on the pavement next to Sydney's Town Hall station every day I TELL people to UNBURDEN themselves of the disgusting habit of carrying FILTHY LUCRE around with them. (Germ-magnets that can carry ebola and
staphylococcus and meningococcus disease).

I offer myself up as a HUMAN TRASH BIN for their wallets, purses, bum-bags and money-belts after scaring the sh!t out of them with enlarged photos of leprosy victims ....

she is typical of many who sampled a bit too  much of the peace and love in the  60s and now lacks basic ability to form coherent  sentences. There may be a mind amongst all the .......... and ?????????  and rambling about off topic subjects, but who knows, Im certainly not going to dumb myself down by communicating in the internet equivalent of grunts. I get plenty of opportunity to talk with burnt out drug addicts, Im not coming here to do it.

Grin Grin Grin

If Michael Jackson's 'Bubbles' did a few of them, they would be worth a fortune today.

And if HE had done any crayon drawings of the kids he slept with ~ THOSE would be worth even more.

If you read Emma's offerings carefully you'll realise she is highly educated, well informed, and intelligent ~ and is an original literary talent who is simply before her time.

I can see the day when her writings will fetch cheque-book prices at auction, and school children will be studying Classical Emma instead of Shakespeare.
