I don't know that I could judge RH's personal morals against his art as they are 2 different things, but I do find it odd that some councils are in a rush to tear down any paintings of his that are on display.
Photos of Rolf and the Lord Mayor or whatever, fair enough, you may not want them up.
But his art work is an entirely different matter.
Either it is good enough to stand on its own merits... or its not.

Personally, if I were in council and we had a fantastic piece of art on the wall, vibrant and colourful, then I would leave it there.

lots of schools of thought on that one I am sure Imagine his art on the walls in England...

the thing about council chambers is they do need to be discreet who knows who will walk in the place..... they have to look at it from all angles not just their own...imagine if one of the persons who have accused him walking into the chambers and confronting a work of Rolfs art on display...

no no no no no.. they have to be taken down..I am not suggesting burning them...

it a tough one I have said along I wouldnt want to be making the decisions..which ever way they go.. the critics will be out in force you can be sure.

I'd like to read your links etc.. but I'm running old gear,.. and so ... no can see...

However... regarding his 'artwork'... it isn't that particularly worthy IMO.. I didn't realise he was a major recognised artist who had won awards for his 'art'.
In fact I don't actually believe that.. pls show me I'm wrong... very populist no doubt.. but worthy enough to balance his corruption...??

NO WAY JOSE.... !! Get off it...

I admit I was amazed at the time... when the TV show came on about him ...painting a portrait of the Queen..? FFS.. Huh

Before any of this came out it was...and I didn't think his work worthy of such opportunity....

But then it seems, does it not,.. that RH was a master of opportunity..??
