It's all a bit ridiculous. A precedent has now been set, and that precedent will only line the coffers of those who control you.
Yes he has been convicted of doing very wrong things and without the requirement of knowing context. It's obvious that others must have been complicit, just as the Wyman and Mandy Smith thing went without action when it was personally reported to the police.
Now we must dig them all up and work our assees off to pay the legal system that creates nothing because "psychological damage" has been done. Yes we all want to protect the younger generation, but in most instances, they are not in need of proetection and they reject it.
If there is anybody here who hasn't felt psychologically controlled by somebody in their life then I'll go he. Everybody has. It doesn't mean that you can go around charging everybody who you feel has tried to exert control over you. That's just life, like it or lump it. That part should have been the last thing a judge would say if he/she were really honest, because let's face it, how many people in high places have sacrificed their souls for control over others?
IMO, life is about furthering the human race, not about argued Gods, control or any other. Rolf has used his control extremely unwisely, but has also provided a unique form of art. There are (so many of) those who provide a stick up the ass and nothing else very uselful who seem to think that they can dictateto to all.
I'm struggling to get to my point, but the point I think is that artists are all buggered up. That''s a integral part of their art. Without the buggeredupedness, there would be no art. And art is more important than an anal, greedy, money grabbing legal system. Make of that what you will, but I'm definitely not supporting child abuse.
