If women want to see pics of budgie smuggling blokes then that's their business.

I don't care whether there's a nipple showing or not. It wasn't a bad photo. I was offering an explanation as to why it might have been objected to.

Aussie seems pretty tolerant of most opinions - just not personal abuse. I agree with him on that. There's nothing worse than a member following you around the forum and the only contribution they make is a personal attack.

Except that I supported Aussie's re-reinstatement as a Global moderator.
Bettee to set the bar high than low. Theres plenty of other sites where you can post pictures of bikini chicks.

I only posted the said picture of a girl in a bikini
to verify the prudish limits of Aussie.
The bar was set very low.

Yet again, Bobby, you misrepresent the position.  As Moderator here, I'm not going to see this Board used to test the envelope.  Feel free to find some Board Moderator who is still wet behind the ears.

Despite the rubbish Aussie spits out, having any of these cartoons on your computer will not result in your arrest at all, by anyone, ever.

This is one of those situations where it might technically meet a definition, but the police are unlikely to arrest anyone because the chance of conviction is so low. Trying to convince a jury that it is pronographic and that someone should be sanctioned for having such an image is unlikely to succeed.

Wanna bet.

Big difference between what is clearly pornographic and an entirely clothed cartoon, at least in terms of convincing people.

It is clearly child pornography material.  Read:

Quote:
Section 473.1

"child pornography material" means:

(a) material that depicts a person, or a representation of a person, who is, or appears to be, under 18 years of age and who:

(i) is engaged in, or appears to be engaged in, a sexual pose or sexual activity (whether or not in the presence of other persons); or

(ii) is in the presence of a person who is engaged in, or appears to be engaged in, a sexual pose or sexual activity;

and does this in a way that reasonable persons would regard as being, in all the circumstances, offensive; or

There is zero chance I'd ever convict for it if I was on a jury.

Assuming you are not acting corruptly on any Jury (unlikely there would ever be one in cases of this kind) can you please explain to me why that image is not caught within that statutory description of child pornography material?

Goes against my code of ethics. But as a juror I have no need to explain my reasoning.

Buggered if I know.  This is 'Aussie' here.  You need no forgiveness from me.

Definition of Prude:

Quote:
A prude (Old French prude meaning honourable woman)[1] is a person who is described as (or would describe themselves as) being concerned with decorum or propriety, significantly in excess of normal prevailing standards. They may be perceived as being more uncomfortable than most with sexuality or nudity.

The name is generally considered a pejorative term to suggest fear and contempt of human sexuality and excessive, unusual modesty stemming from such a negative view of sexuality. It is hence unflattering, often used as an insult. A person with such attitude to sexuality may have reservations about nudity, public display of sexual affection, discussion of sexual matters, participating in romantic or sexual activity—reservations that exceed normal prevailing community standards. Exhibiting fear and discomfort with sexuality may be associated with advocating censorship of sexuality or nudity in the media, avoiding or condemning any public display of affection, however, some of these positions can have a different and even totally opposite motivation. Thus advocating limits on public displays of sexuality and nudity might be motivated by moral concerns about degrading the dignity of involved persons (for example, exploitation of women) and concerns about debasing and degrading the value of sex (especially when presented in a commercial setting) rather than by a negative attitude to sexuality.

It's amazing how Mattywisk has escaped being banned.  We have all these moderators here now - all of them with decent standards - yet some of them are continuously being insulted and members are still being stalked and abused relentlessly by this character. Every thread this shared nick posts in is trashed - yet the account is still functioning.  Is Mattywisk an example of the new low standard here now? Can we all insult, abuse, stalk and plagiarise whenever the mood suits us?

I totally agree with you.

Mattywisk does a tag-team act with Neferti with the sole purpose of sh!tting on threads from a great height for its delinquent entertainment value.

Meanwhile FD is asking me if my girlfriends only like the missionary position ...  Grin

COME ON, Freediver and you other mods! There's at least one rat in the silo here that needs exterminating!

I noticed the thread you're referring to. If it's any consolation Lord Herbert - I've always suspected that "heterosexual" males who defend the alternative position are closet gays.  Smiley

Grin Grin Grin

Of course they are! They may as well join the sex parties after the Gay Mardi Gras here in Sydney. With half the Gay Boyz heavily made up to look like female impersonators, John Smith and his fellow analists wouldn't know the difference.

And wouldn't care if they DID know the difference.

But then we always knew that about Italian and Greek men, didn't we?  Cool
