Torpedo, I've just returned from a full ban from which I've learnt the basic premise of oz politic. It is acceptablle to offend or provoke through the belittlement and suppression of ideas held by a majority of white, christian working Australians. At the same time, it is unjustifiable to call these left-thought supremacists to task. In this way, the developers have created a wonderful little sewing circle of leftist activists who have the vehicle of preaching whatever ideas they like without EVER being faced with the threat of having to defend those ideas-sort of like Leon Trotsky without the ice pick. Pathetic!

That image is fine by me. For all I know, he could be an Aussie, as might the female who may be his Grand-daughter. Or he might be a Muslem as might she. I don't care about that image. It contains nothing which puts it in breach of the child pornography material provisions of the C'wealth Criminal Code.

You see, that image is totally not fine by me, yet, I am not proposing to censor it.
Why am I not ok: because if it is related to arranged marriage, which in my opinion the photo is strongly suggesting, then this is appalling in my view, because the girl is obviously underage...
also, we all know very well, we have eye witnesses, we have news all over the world, we know victims who claim this, that muslim community, in accordance with (their own, man made) sharia law does in fact let this kind of game to sink through, sometimes illegally, and in other instances, as we have many times witnessed, demand this to be legal, because apparently, i.e. TrueColours, West is deluded regarding the real adult age, it should in fact be the at time of menzies, and is ok to marry someone with first signs of boobs, i.e. "who looks like an adult" (c)
So you see some cartoon image as completely disturbing, and the words expressed freely by some radical dude is totally acceptable?

Why is this guy not being reprimanded? It is a public forum, and some people will actually consider it as a proposal to apply this idea into the reality.. :\
Is it because the forum will lose its value if he had left it?
Is it because IT IS actually appropriate to say this, in your opinion?

You've made your point, I get it, c'wealth criminal code, reasonable doubt, etc...
I'm pointing out that I get pretty offended and disturbed when some radical muslim "clerk" refers to a woman as meat, or suggests underage marriage as completely normal lifestyle, or silencing other non-muslims for expressing their view on this cult, religion, call it whatever you like.
What are we going to do with all these people who are offended by this? Or are you suggesting that if it doesn't disturb you (or say, not you, but some fanatic who thinks it's ok...) then it shouldn't offend anyone else, and so we will quietly continue to let this happen?
Or do you think that only a cartoon image can be disturbing?
