Censoring on forum detected
Jun 8th, 2014 at 1:24am

Apparently, I am unable to write on "Multiculturalism" forum.
Because I quoted this "porn"(as ian and Ausdie continue to insist) as pedophilia, which it is. And that is all I said.
First of all, banning for saying the truth is definitely bending over any rationality. Secondly, something really strikes me here: Aussie, and his cothinkers, are ready to sweep all facts under the rug, accuse and threaten,  all in favour of one particular religion. So, life of those girls is not as important? This is sick, I for one feel less and less comfortable living in a world filled with pigs who think ancient culture is more important than the child's life? Don't you think you, not those who post some caricatures, should be holding a responsibility?

I object to that image per se, and have made the point that, so far as I am concerned, its relevance or otherwise to Islam is totally remote from the fact that this site is hosting an image in clear breach of the child pornography material provisions of the C'wealth Criminal Code.

how about a jihad???... death is the only thing that will bring this to an end...and all those who see evil in a cartoon will be justified..

can you tell me how do we help a child in a cartoon?????..... I could have missed the thread on that?..

this is a drawing..another man drew a pic of Muhammad.. and is still looking over his shoulder years later...do you approve of that??? do you think that is the answer to preventing child porn as you call this?????.....

do you think hiding the truth as some see it.. is the way to go????...

I saw this as an attack on Islam.... and I agree this part of their culture is abnormal..and has no place in this country..

maybe we shouldnt talk about that either.

Apart from Aussie I have had no real issues with censorship but I gotta say, I have never seen a forum so full of posters who hint frantically where moderation should occur and for contrary viewpoints to be censored.

it is the same mindset that calls for cartoonists to be killed.  It truly is sad and pathetic.

Many of you would be well suited to running totalitarian states.  No need to argue against a point if you can just ban the point or better yet the person making it.

I never quoted those caricatures as porn, also my opposition to them was and is not based on religion. Get a grip Torpedo.

Aussie can find offense even with a girl sitting on a couch fully clothed.

Take is as a comment on softcocks who would prefer a forum where everyone agrees with each other.

Nothing like some mutually masturbating self congratulation and ego preening groupthink to endorse and validate your own ideas and prejudices safe from contrary opinion and dissenting ideas.

Was posting deliberately offensive caricatures the only way to make that point do you think? Isnt the point of this forum about debate?

Those cartoons in Extremism aren't exactly anti-paedophilia. Cartoons of that genre promote paedophilia if anything.

Some of you are very hung up about Muslims and tar them all with the same brush. Multiculturalism is a fact of life and it's not going to go away, but in the meantime regardless of what religion you are there are laws here to protect our children.

Do you agree that banning me from writing on a certain forum, because I expressed what I think of this cartoon is a justice???
WTF is wrong with everyone.
And how do YOU suggest to help a girl, a muslim girl born to a moronic culture, who doesn't really have a choice? What do you think it does to her when we silently watch FGM being performed?
Or them being married at 13??? Ahhh, in this case we just say: but but but, we don't have the budget to cover for this sh!t, we are running in debt...
So, an opinion about certain cartoon caricature (I still don't see how it is considered a porn, when it is clearly an illustration of muhammad and his wife!!!) is ought to be banned! Am I correct?!

Exactly what have I said for you to make such move?

Well, in this case should we restrict the whole material of islam, where it is so widely followed?
Check out TrueColours view on age limits for marriage, and tell me why he is not banned from expressing his opinion?

It inspired debate did it not?  I find many things offensive but I dont seek to censor discussion of them nor do I seek to censor other posters because I disagree with them or dont like them.

And you need to understand somepeople deliberately seek offence and to be offended precisely so that they can censor...or in other instances be a back seat mod and further an agenda of destabilisation.
