Wiping the hdd will delete everything ~ but I'll check out this idea anyway.

Update: Great news! Ozpol loading has slowed to a crawl, which means the problem wasn't in my computer but with my ISP.

I called the ASUS people and they stepped me through the process.

Yes! I notice it's suddenly working okay. It's not what you know, it's WHO you know.

We owe the ISIS guys a delivery of free suicide vests with sticks of TNT for phoning FD at the Sydney Fish Market to ask him to correct this problem.
