Bendigo extremists expose themselves
Jun 19th, 2014 at 10:23am

"We're not racists".  No, you're bigots.   Bigots who refuse to accept a decision arrived at democratically and who prefer to peddle ignorance, hatred and intolerance than allow peaceful Australia Muslims to have their own place of worship in Bendigo.  Terrorists, in Bendigo?  Really?   Grin Grin Grin Grin

What happened to freedom of religion?  Only guaranteed for Christians is it?

Herbert and his friend Larry pickering must be fuming.

At the end of the day, if the place of worship adheres to the council LEP and DCP plans then why shouldnt they be allowed to open it.

No reason whatsoever.

However, you'd never be able to convince this crowd:

I doubt that the collective IQ of the room would reach double figures.  I feel sorry for the kids that these people are "raising".

If a place or worship adheres the the council plans and policies then they can build what they want.

So even if you got a million letters stating that muslims are terrorists council would throw the letters away.

Yes, but that's not going to stop the bigots in that picture from protesting.

Nothing will change their (narrow) minds.

Members of the public can sit in the gallery during council meetings.

So doesnt mean they were all protesting the mosque, some are maybe regular council attendees.

"More than 200 people packed into the public gallery at the central Victorian city's council meeting on Wednesday night.

"Most had come to voice their objections to a planning application for the mosque in East Bendigo and police were on hand in case things got out of hand."

This is standard fair.

The usual suspects have been protesting each and every new mosque development to local councils for decades.

Your probably right.

What is most funny, i bet most of those people have never been to a council meeting, dont know there councillors, dont give two stuffs about development in the area, but as soon as muslims want to do something, suddenly they want to be freinds with council and go to there council meetings.PFFT.

Typically it comes down to a few - even just one or two - very motivated and very determined rabble rousers who have nothing better to do than stir sh*t up and make a huge issue over nothing. They get on local radio, the local paper, and basically organise the sheeple into a 'protest movement' for them.

When you paying me royalities on misusing my signature symbols?   Grin Grin Grin Grin

So, would you oppose the building of a Mosque in Bendigo Lionel?   And if you were to, what would the grounds be?
