Merriam Webster describes a housewife as a married woman who is in charge of her household
no mention of ironing there

explain how the fact that he's married and has daughters means he can't be sexist? my grandfather was married twice, and had 2 daughters, and remains one of the most sexist men I've ever known .. Cheesy

you need to get into the real world .... they aren't going to risk their cushy job just because they disagee with the boss .... they wait until the job is no longer an impediment on their speaking out and then they speak out

I think that men are actually better decision-makers than women, anyway. Women rely too much on their emotions, and are too fickle. On the other hand though, they are probably better than men with young children, so I think that the man is better off being the breadwinner of the family, and the woman should stay home and nurture the children.

Many would see these views as sexist, but I don't, it's just being objective and practical.

Fair point, I was referring more to the points about his deputy and chief of staff. That said though, he obviously les his wife and daughters very much.
