More recently, you said on the ABC “like I’ve made quite clear, if it’s not going to suit my Tasmania, then I’ll be crossing the floor. That’s just the way it is. I have to put Tasmania first.”  May I ask why you ran for Federal Parliament because you actually need to be basing your decisions on what is best for the world when you are running a country.

Yes why did she run for Federal Parliament if she's only concerned about her state?  She may be a Senator from Tasmania, but she is an Australian Senator.

http://theaimn.com/jacqui-lambie/

Is Tasmania not part of Australia anymore? Are Tasmanians not Australian?

Did anyone say it wasn't?  Gee, I must have missed that  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Then this makes no sense, "Senator from Tasmania, but she is an Australian Senator", why the but? She is an Australian from the state of Tasmania, there is no but, and she was elected by her state to represent them, not you. See? Bogus post.

I'm sorry did you just jump in without reading the original QUOTE...  ?  Roll Eyes
BTW she was elected to the AUSTRALIAN Senate not the TASMANIAN Senate. Cheesy

If that is the highlighted bit, then I have no problem with it. What do you think she should do? Go against what she thinks is bad for her state? She is there to review legislation and if it negatively impacts on the people that voted for her, reject it or amend it.

Never met him, but has read his books. I suppose that qualifies her as an expert on all things Abbott. Lambie enlisted in the Australian Army in 1989, spending over ten years in the Australian Army specialising in transport management and military policing. She achieved the lofty rank of corporal but at one point was charged and reduced in rank after assaulting a fellow soldier while intoxicated. I suppose her extensive military experience and training in close personal protection also qualifies her to speak on matters of security as it relates to the PM's daughters too!

She's a joke and should've kept her mouth shut rather than show everyone how little she understands because clearly the AFP, which is charged with the safety and security of the PM and his family would've never put his daughters knowingly into a dangerous situation.

I doubt you need to be a mental giant to understand that if a Pollie parades their adult children around during an election campaign, they are attracting attention which would not otherwise arise.  Lambie's basic point holds water ~ Abbott was willing to risk adverse attention to his Family to flog his political ambitions.

Every politician does it, big deal.

Elected by persons within Division (province). Duty to Australia. Duty to see persons of the province not be seen lesser to other Australian living in other province.

Not citizen of one province go without that Government supplies citizen in another province!

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying but I'll take a stab at it... Every Australian has a duty to Australia(like voting, do it), her being from and representing Tas means she should look after their interests. She is there to review legislation and decide if it is in the interest of Australia. Tasmania is part of Australia and an obvious concern for her. What do you expect?

That is expected, yet not at expense of another Australian to enjoy same right or provision of good to the people.

Parliament is earthly place of god, all that affect us in every way come from the mouths of there!
