More recently, you said on the ABC “like I’ve made quite clear, if it’s not going to suit my Tasmania, then I’ll be crossing the floor. That’s just the way it is. I have to put Tasmania first.”  May I ask why you ran for Federal Parliament because you actually need to be basing your decisions on what is best for the world when you are running a country.

Yes why did she run for Federal Parliament if she's only concerned about her state?  She may be a Senator from Tasmania, but she is an Australian Senator.

Is Tasmania not part of Australia anymore? Are Tasmanians not Australian?

Did anyone say it wasn't?  Gee, I must have missed that  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Then this makes no sense, "Senator from Tasmania, but she is an Australian Senator", why the but? She is an Australian from the state of Tasmania, there is no but, and she was elected by her state to represent them, not you. See? Bogus post.

Elected by persons within Division (province). Duty to Australia. Duty to see persons of the province not be seen lesser to other Australian living in other province.

Not citizen of one province go without that Government supplies citizen in another province!

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying but I'll take a stab at it... Every Australian has a duty to Australia(like voting, do it), her being from and representing Tas means she should look after their interests. She is there to review legislation and decide if it is in the interest of Australia. Tasmania is part of Australia and an obvious concern for her. What do you expect?
