I'm not surprised the Brazilians feel cheated ~ which off course they were ... by their own selection committee.

There were people on the field for Brazil who should never have been there. Perhaps money changed hands. Perhaps threats were made.

To lose by a couple of goals is normal, but to have 7 goals against you at this level of the game is an open confession of criminal negligence on the part of the selection committee and the coaches.

I'd hate to see her at a funeral ...

This is a massive humiliating defeat that will leave the Brazilians shocked for months to come.

It was bizarre to watch the Brazilian team have a serious lapse in concentration, if you can call it that. Its almost as if some of the players just switched off. Shocked

So much expectation was built up over the months leading up to the World Cup that the fans feel as though they've been dropped from a great height. I wanted Germany to win but I didn't want Brazil to lose like that. Brazil was in a bad way the last time they had the World Cup on their home turf and they lost, and it was the same thing back then with the huge build up of the expectation they were going to win. They didn't expect Brazil to lose at all and now its happened all over again when they were supposed to win this time round in order to heal wound of the last time.

What a Shocker!
