They are the comments you replied to. regardless, if you wish to derail yet another thread with your endless semantics i have better things to do than argue with a petulant 10 year old. ian, give it a rest old son. You made a simple mistake. So what? We all do. Don't make yourself look silly by carrying on like that. I never mentioned anything about their rights in Indonesia: you know it, I know it, and everyone else in the forum knows it. Seriously This was my reply: If they say they are seeking asylum, they are most certainly asylum seekers (that doesn't make them genuine refugees though).
If they don't say they're claiming asylum, then they are not asylum seekers. You don't even have the sense to realise when I'm agreeing with you. For something to be true it is not enough to be uttered. It is also important to know who is saying it and in what circumstances. Illegal entrants on boats can utter anything, including 'I want asylum', but it doesn't make them genuine asylum seekers. Incorrect. It does make them asylum seekers. It does not, however, make them genuine refugees. Even after all this time, you still don't know the difference between an asylum seeker and a refugee. The decision whether a person is a refugee or not is most often left to certain government agencies within the host country. This can lead to a situation where the country will see an asylum seeker neither as refugee nor as legitimate migrant. Then they will be treated as an illegal immigrant (a person who is not a citizen of the country) even if their life was endangered in the country they fled from. You forgot to cite your reference. http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asylum_seekerTo recap, if they say they are seeking asylum, they are genuine asylum seekers. However that does not make them genuine refugees. No need to cite my reference. They may not be genuine asylum seekers at all. They're genuine asylum seekers. However, they may not be genuine refugees. You just need to learn the difference (and learn to cite references, instead of plagiarising). Sue me gweggy. No need to cite my reference on here at all. You wouldn't know if they were genuine asylum seekers until they were processed gweggy. I need to cite your references, to show others that you are in fact plagiarising. i.e. you are a fraud. A liar. And, you wouldn't know if they were genuine refugees until they were processed. Until then, they are genuine asylum seekers. You need to learn the difference. You can cite what you want the contents is the same for the point it makes I doubt people will get upset princess. Since it was all true I was not Lying at all. They are not genuine until proven to be so gweggy. Most probably are not genuine at all given their track records.
